I've been involved in my own fair share of piracy, and though I have not gone as far as -10 (-3.5 at the farthest), it seems to have no impact on npc corp standings such as the common R&D corps and ussual missioning corps people use.
Also so far in my case, even concord (the actual npc corp) have't taken any standing hits. You should be fine.
Hope this helps. |

Faction standings are only altered through pve activity, pvp does not affect it except in the case of FW (I'll cover that later). Corp standings however can be impacted. Simply destroying a player ship won't do anything. However, podding a member of an NPC corp will result in -50% corp standing per incident unless you have kill rights on their pod (GCC, outlaw or wt). I don't know if that particular corp has any players in it but that's pretty easy to check by going to a busy system (ie jita) and checking random people's corp history to look for npc corps.
In the case of FW, killing enemy militia ships has no impact on standings. Killing a pod has the same -50% standing as usual for non-wt's. You can also lose standings for RRing GCC or outlaw members of your own militia. Alternatively GCCing on a member of your militia will do the same. These losses vary like security sec losses but unlike all other standing gains/losses will impact both your npc militia corp standing and your faction standing. Being a guardian pilot in a GCC militia fleet is a surefire way to get yourself -10 with your own empire. That said the RR standing loss is a known long standing bug and will be reimbursed upon petition. It takes a few days however as with all reimbursement petitions. |
