I remember seeing some posts asking what was up but I can't seem to find them now.
So we know the server and website were down last night, and was followed by some funky hiccups. Was wondering if CCP has any comments as to what the issue was, is tomorrows patch related to it?
I was in an incursion fleet and the odd thing was, even though we all locked up and couldn't log on any other accounts, we could still talk in fleet and see our little speech balloons turn red as each of us spoke. I know Eve voice is independent of eve so I can see how that makes sense.. but still, funky stuff for the server.
Would like to know how that's going.

I was running a mission on three accounts at once and all of a sudden I couldn't get any of them to do anything at all. It stayed that way for several minutes.
I figure the CCP people were having their usual party, throwing tons of money in the air, boozing it up and snorting coke off of the body parts of call girls. Then someone tripped over the power cord....

Some Python code was not injected properly.
It got out and started easting the hamsters.

Oops! Sorry, that was me. Was in my CQ jamming on some NeX purchases and I bought like four or five things in succession and then I believe it was the monocle that put the crash nail in the coffin.
Hey, look on the bright side. At least you can say: "It was real, I was there!"

It's the edict from the new owners.
As a culture of "never apologise / never explain" is standard procedure within Japan CCP will basically need to fall in line with this now.
So the best way to determine if the server is FUBAR is when CCP says nothing at all.
I predict the server status API to be offlined soon as a aprt of the $99 deal for "retuning".
