I recently (re)discovered that PI items, such as robotics, rocket fuel and other materials, are used in T2 production. Problem is that I can't find a good list of all the associations without going through the item database and building that list myself (ie :effort:). Is this list already out there and can anyone provide a link or source?
Much appreciated.

Edited by: Cahal Arbosa on 11/07/2011 17:02:23 This is the best guide on the PI resources and what they are used for as far as I'm aware of: http://wiki.eveuniversity.org/Planetary_Commodities

Aye, I've seen this one and it got me thinking about where exactly the transmitters are used and by which T2s.
This is the essence of my question: is there a site out there that shows all the T2s that transmitters (for example) are an input for?

Here is a diagram of PI production from P0 -> P4.
Each commodity produced is present in a tree somewhere, so you should be able to locate the commodity you want to make and see the production route needed.
The PI commodities used in T2 production are
P2
- Construction Blocks
- Consumer Electronics
- Mechanical Parts
- Miniature Electronics
- Rocket Fuel
- Superconductors
- Transmitters
P3
- Guidance Systems
- Robotics
- Ukomi Superconductors
Honestly though, any endeavor in Eve where you want to excel or turn a decent profit for, you should be willing to do the leg work and setup your own tools (i.e. spreadsheets, :effort:)
As to which T2 items require which PI resources, I am not aware of any list or database containing said information in an easy access format. For that you may need to populate a spreadsheet all your own. Alternatively, you can instead just produce the PI items that are most valuable / easy to access / needed for your own production chains. ---

Can't vouch for this 100% but try: https://spreadsheets.google.com/spreadsheet/lv?key=0Aso7-m-en3GWdFZpSkxNd0xSajVfbDBqMWJMZFhNUFE
Or if you have the static data dump you can do a set of queries like:
SELECTa.activityName, mg.marketGroupName, rt.typeName, tr.quantity, t.typeName FROMramTypeRequirements tr JOINinvTypes t ON t.typeID = tr.typeID JOINinvTypes rt ON rt.typeID = tr.requiredTypeID JOINramActivities a ON a.activityID = tr.activityID JOINinvMarketGroups mg ON mg.marketGroupID = rt.marketGroupID WHEREmg.parentGroupID = 1332 -- Planetary Commodities ANDt.published = 1
Besides ramTypeRequirements you'd also need to look at invTypeMaterials for raw materials and maybe invTypeReactions and planetSchematicsTypeMap.

That is the coolest thing ever, and your computer science speak is awesome, if unintelligible.
Thanks!

Pretty nice, but it lacks for example all the drones - which need guidance systems to build. |

I think those might be on the "additional materials" tab.
