First up, I have no stake in this at all. I'm pretty much retired from things and sitting on a massive 20.8m in my wallet. \o/
For those that have been paying attention they will already have grabbed a slice of this action. For the rest have some info on me.
There is currently a shortage of Alloyed trit bars in the major hubs with the volume on sell orders diminishing by the day. As of this moment in time there is a substantial difference between the buy order and sell order prices, we're talking in the order of 10% - 12% depending on location. Combine this with the current lack of stock on sell orders and sell prices are going to go way, way, way up.
Why? Well, the biggest driver for Alloyed Trit Bars are the Cargohold Optimization rigs. The medium sized one alone in the Domain region will account for upwards of 10k units of Alloyed Trit Bars per day. These are used on all industrials, mining barges, noctis etc... Large ones on the Orca. The other drivers are the PVP orientated rigs associated with the nano fits that are back in vogue.
So, Laurens hot-pick for those not paying attention is to whack some buy orders down whilst the price is still low because by the end of the week......

I'm stocking alloyed tritanium waffles aswell. Look at jita volume compared to the sells listed. I'm expecting up to 170k soon \o/

how long have you been watching these?
my assumption without even looking at the market is, a weekend has just passed & all the mission runners dumped their loot onto buy orders.
/shrug, ill have a look when i get home.

Not to help or hinder any speculative actions, contrived or legitimate, but some salvage does appear to finally be getting some sustained recovery since the introduction of the Noctis. Some of the less often used salvage continues to slide where as a few have shown some stability. The rumor of capital sized rigs didn't hurt.
