Ok, before Incarna my drones may be slow at it but were able to take down elite cruisers. Now they don't even stand a chance. at abpout 50% the cruisers simply repair/boost back their tank. Is it me or has anyone else similar issues?

Edited by: Ava n''Daara on 12/07/2011 12:27:11 Half of your drones are probably shooting at different targets even if you told them all to shoot at one target. Keep telling them to shoot at your desired target every couple seconds for the first dozen or so and they should stick.
I've reported the bug and it was attached to a defect.
Hopefully they'll get a fix in soon, but I'm not holding my breath. I don't recall Drones ever working perfectly - certainly not 'focus fire' - but they're now much worse than I've ever seen them. I get a feeling there are state-based race conditions in the code that makes them all but uncontrollable.
If turrets started shooting random ships unexpectedly, there'd be a fix in asap.. but drones? meh. :(

No my drones was all on one target at that time (if they was displayed right) but after doing some maths it was like i have no drone skills applied on them. I know this should be fixed already. but later that day i lost a ship in a situation where the tank should easily take the damage. Thing is i can't prove it and if CCP can't readout some logs i feel like i've recently started Eve. I'm not blaming CCP for bugs cause bugs are normal in MMOs so please trolls calm down :3 Its just i'm confused like **** about this and want to know what happened. Did I fail? Was it a bug? I don't know and that bothers me the most

Whenever you pull a ship from a SMA or Orca/Carrier Maintaince array you need to relog to fix some weird bug they reinserted during the incarna patch. Try it

If you hover over the drone indicator on your target you can see how many drones are attacking the target.. in their current state, if you hover over it immediately after telling them to attack a new target, it should show 5 (assuming you have 5 out). Then a moment later if you re-hover over it, that number will generally drop to 2-3 as half of your drones have decided to take on a different target (that they likely chose before you assigned them one).
The problem is most pronounced when attacking frigates in rapid succession with T2 Sentries since the ships are destroyed with less than the whole group and they idle at different times causing them to get seriously confused/screwed-up.
Anyway, whether it's the drone behaviour or the issue of skills not applying I'd say you're going to have to wait on CCP's fix.
