There are players who will complained about subscription cost when the Euro gains over the Dollar.
There are players who will complained about subscription cost when the Dollar gains over the Euro.
and the same holds true for any currency you can buy Eve with. The complainers usually use phrases like "why should I subsidize players from country 'XXX'?"
They are all morons, and should be treated as such.
Play nice while you butcher each other.

Just saying, when american non-world news reports that the UK's seperatist party are trying to move to fracture scotland away from the UK and reports all of these other riots on non-Fox channels you know its bad. Pre-order your Sisters of ≡v≡ Exploration ship today, Updated 3APR11

It's 71 cents to the euro. I'm not worried. Europeans are used to not paying for anything and getting as much as they can for as little effort as possible anyway.

UK players have been getting screwed by the exchange rates for the last 2 years - thats just the way it goes. CCP has no control on exchange rates.

And with your yearly US state dept you would never get into the Euro currency zone. So stay Drama mode ^^
This.
The euro is still more stable than the dollar. However, the banking cartels that control both currencies are playing with fire. It seems like a game of 'who can print more, faster'. They're both fiat currencies, and all fiat currencies fail. It's a mathematical certainty.

We are aware of this, but our politicians decided to set priorities ...
... and spend the money on bailouts for failing countries. When they are done running our country into the ground and it is our turn to failcascade, then no one in the EU will be there to save us.
As long as there are rogue nations and dictatorships willing to buy our admirable tanks we'll be just fine.

Since when did CCP adjust subscriptions based on currency fluctuations...? A devalued Ç won't make any difference to Europeans as long as they pay in euros.
Cause this is a carry on from a discussion several years ago where people who lived in europe where taking advantage of the rates and buying GTC's from the US. Effectively lowering there cost.
The bottom line is have one less pint every month and you will be covered |

For those of americans and other folks outside the country that dont understand the political @#$%^ storm in america.
Repeat after me The US cannot default if the debt limit is not increased. This default only comes when the US can no longer pay her bills (bonds, interest on the loans, and other finiacal obligations) which is the one thing to always continued to be paid for.during debt limits or government shutdowns along with other essential services, it would take a one way ticket to ruin with no return for this to happen. Just one political party is threatening to default the nation on purpose in order to get more money it wants to spend it elsewhere for additional votes at the polls. Either way raising the debt limit isnt as scary as the next loan being denied which is out of US political control.
In other words the US can no longer fund anything outside the military and continual infrastructure operation if debt ceiling isnt increased. So research funding, social funding and other stripends are no longer paid out and are requested to discontinue work.
There is rumor that the chinese manufacturing bubble might pop in a few years time though and when it does the entire world is going to feel that one. Pre-order your Sisters of ≡v≡ Exploration ship today, Updated 3APR11

The euro is going to collapse soon, I suspect it will begin to happen when Greece finally defaults on their debt, no matter who you are you can't keep a failing system together for long.
