Invented several Tech 2 drone BPC's and have noted that there are tabs for "Manufacture", "Copying" &c. However it seems that the only thing you can actually do with a BPC is Manufacture from it.
Does anyone know what the purpose is of this Copying BoM? For example, Tech 2 Hobgoblins have Data Sheets and R.Db CreoDron.

BPOs and BPCs of any particular item link to the exact same data.
They could make it so that BPCs no longer display those things, but, :effort:

Those material lists are inherent to that particular type of blueprint. If you had a BPO of the same type, the copying and research list of materials would apply. The fact that they are there, however, doesn't change that you can't copy or research a BPC.

I thought about that but I don't think so. The BoM to copy the Tech I BPO is not the same as listed on the Copy tab for the Tech BPC. It's a specifically different set of attributes that look like they should do something, but don't.

JFC, it's just a leftover remnant from the BPO system. The exact same stats are on the BPOs. Someone already told you that. They were not talking about the Tech I BPO, they were talking about the Tech II BPO.
Like I said the first time: They do not have a purpose on a BPC. Ignore it.
