this is happening on all 3 pcs i have.... i click show info on a character and the pop up window doesnt load correctly.
all i get is a partial image and then nothing
now i got booted out of game

Yeah the server cluster database is falling over right now. Get safe and prepare for an emergency reboot. I'm out in nullsec and the interface is incredibly unresponsive and I can't log in on another account.

Was trying to plot a course to run a few missions with corp mates, but crashed after 2-3 minutes trying to initialize map. Tried to relog and spent 3-4 minutes loading station even with CQ I only need about 1 minute to get the interface, and normally the full cq as well.

This just goes to prove how badly ccp implements new development models and skips all Quality controll. Reminds me of prime instruction of engineering electronics course: After flash and smoke clears, check the damage.
Come on ccp, its not that hard to write code that behaves and dosent crap your database in every few days. Do you fellows even test them at all?

On a serious note I purchased the game 3 weeks ago and it crashes at least once a day it seems, (that's not including the reboot, specially lately) previous to that I think its crashed about 5 times in the 3 weeks before the last few days which its crashed about twice a day , hope CCP are giving a refund for this month cause this is total bull****.

They delayed the server patch last time as it wasn't working in test. That was a good move +1. Then they install it & it crashes -2!!! Please CCP sort it out

I tend to lurk these forums mostly, but tonight i decided to log in a express my displeasure at yet another crash.
Seriously CCP guys, this game is subbed with real world cash so should be amoung the best and most reliable servers around, i'd say currently its on par with a ****ty home made DB made by a 12 yr old.
Normally i dont complain, but really 5/6 times in ONE week is bordering unacceptable.
Sort your stability issues out before pushing new stuff on an already twitchy DB please.

Not that bad?! I just made 50 mil in skillbook purchases (they better still be there when I get back, lol). Not to mention, what would have happened if someone was flying a very expensive, multi-billion isk PvE ship, and it got boarded by another person upon return.

Haha you need to know more people and have more channels open. We had signs of the coming crash about 5-10 minutes before the final drop. The only thing that freaked us is having our logis unable to rep.

Hey I'm just one person that isn't afraid of the 2k that want to go backwards..Nothing is ever 100%. Plus this is the first server crash I have actually seen this week. Other than the extended downtimes. They could just not update the game ever, and the same 2k would ***** because nothing new is appearing.

i predicted it in corp chat neheb. lol. We were discussing docking in fleet and then the node died. and not much was lost i dont think unless Alain had the can about full. lol

Meh, i stopped playing eve a few weeks ago cause it didn't work right...returned today to find the same ****.
Can't wait to watch Dust 21 not work as it's supposed to.
I think this could be the beginning of the end for CCP. Removing small gang warfare pushed a large group of people out of the game... then the tru-sec nerf did the same.
Powerblocks consume 0.0 .. Empire life is dull. Faction warfare offers little to most. I don't think i'm going to stick around anymore.
Been dealing with this garbage for 8 years now... it's laughable when i say it.
I've watched this game go from a bare-boned skeleton to something special and then back to this state eve is in now. In the beginning it was a lot more fun. Even without the frills it was better because it was a true sandbox environment.
gah, w.e...I hope Crowd Control Productions (CCP) gets its **** together but i know from 8 years of watching these nutbags that isn't likely.

Looks like CCP is not taking these update any seriously...
as player community we sould charge CCP each time the server goes down on not shedule time, shut downs should be boardcast at least 4 hours prior. not doiing so CCP would be penelise and payout the players (all the players).
Lets go easy at first for the next 10 days:
100000 SP for each down time not on schedule.
pass those 10 days CCP sould hand out PLEX to all active players.
Maybe then CCP will realise how frustating these can be to players and actuly fix the connection issues
These database emergency shutdown most be end.

No, they didn't fix it quickly. They just got it back up, didn't fix it at all, and now it's going down again.

Loving this. Another reboot and i can do this mission yet again. I'm making piles of isk from this. Well, ok i didnt snag the salvage, i was off in another test ship and had to run back so i lost alot of time. Still, i got thru most of that mission and i get another run at it when we come back!
Really loving you guys at CCP right now.  If it happens yet again im gunna fly to Reykjavik and kiss you full on the mouth.

Hmmm, this crashing needs to stop and the button to 'report bug' needs to be made bigger or at least more easily found, the only option I find sends me to EvE online's petition section. Honestly, this WoD looks good on paper but this really is the worst public beta test Ive ever been in and the shameless 'Eve promotion' in game needs to stop.

This is hilarious. I think there's one thing we can all agree on: crashes are not good. Now everyone hold hands and be shiny happy people getting along together by expressing mild amusement at CCP's technical difficulties.

CCP says they are still looking over issues. Makes me wonder if another reboot is coming? I think I will raid the fridge for a while. Watch a gun p0rn0 or something fun on the tube. Then, check back in. Y'all have fun. Don't let the rage bugs bite.
