Upon logging in I was notified with the mail blink and black box pop up I had mail.
I clicked the box, mail window opened, and to my surprise not only was there no new mail, but every single folder I had kept mail in was empty.

Seriously, if we're getting data loss then this seems to be a bit bigger than what the statement "DB issue" implies.

You DO have a back-up don't you? CCP?
I mean, I do it myself sometimes, trashing mail. But deleting all mail? That's a bit over the top I think.....

It just taking a long time to load. Check again. And be careful about buying things as well - 2 minute delay in delivery and posting of transactions. Don't just keep clicking the buy button....

In the sticky they say that secure.eveonline.com is still down. Could mail etc all be missing because it all runs through eve gate which is part of your account?

no, Mine's been open for awhile. It's dead empty, not even trash.
And a test mail from another account shows up instantly...GG CCP.

Eve gate is working...
CCP, I want my mail back. I'm not even joking. I've been very calm about all this going on until now. I've been playing loyally since 04. But it is getting to be a joke now.
I have lots of important information filed away in my mails which if now lost... well. *Rage is building*
I think we all need some compensation for all the Database issues of late.
No AUR isn't good enough. nobody cares about AUR.

No it doesn't. It is not loading, even after ten minutes.
One: The little counter at the top right corner (indicating that the Mail screen is loading) isn't there any more after a couple of seconds.
Two: Where the list of mails should be, there are big capitalized and bolded letters: NO MAIL FOUND.....

mail basic = free but only 20 days store. mail gold = 200 AUR per month and 60 days store, mail unlimited = 3600 AUR unlimited

EVEMail was not deleted and is still there. The option to send and retrieve them was temporally disabled and should be back to normal once Tranquility returns.

So, it is an issue with the interface between the DB and EVE host or is it a DB issue? I just wanna make sure my character is safe before I spend anymore time on this game.
