will you be able to use tech II ammo on them=? I mean they cost/gonna cost more then tech II guns/upcomming launchers very hard to get, think it would be fair if you would be able to use tech II ammo with them..
was thinking to spent some time to get me 7navy seiges...

Only the tech 2 guns show as capable of using advanced charges, so I assume only tech 2 guns will be able to use tech 2 ammo. And hopefully it will stay like this.

Correct, officer guns wont be able to use tech2 ammo. This will ofc lower their relative worth once tech2 ammo shows up.
Altho some of this stuff would still be stronger then any tech2 material could ever be. _______________________________________________

when t2 ammo comes out, all the t1 named guns, including rare faction guns, will devalue. There wouldn't be any good reason to pay for those more than for t2 gun. Skill limitation is the only reason, and that's a bad reason.
"rare" mods, guns, should be more powerful than "readily available" mods and guns. That's basic principle of game design

Not really. Compare fitting 7 protos with 7 425mm tech2's.
On another note, check things like officer 425mm guns. Note the difference in stats. Some have higher damage mdos then 425mm II's would get even, or higher range or whatever. _______________________________________________

As Neon Genesis said, there will be T2 named loot. Thus I expect to see T2 Commander and Officer items as well.

Faction guns devaluing is a good thing, as they are overpriced as it is (although i'm sure someone will be willing to point out supply and demand, and if it wasn't worth the insane prices, they wouldn't sell etc....).
The other point is: For a proper player driven economy to work, the best items need to be player creatable (That is not to say that they cant also drop as loot).
