Ever since the last patch I've been crashing to desktop when I walk away from the game for more than a minute. As soon as I come back and click on something the game crashed to desktop.
I can't even take a long pee without having to relaunch eve and log in again.
Anyone else having this problem?

i was having this problem, i know another play who was having the same, i work it out that my problem was my router, and the other player had the same router. try checking the settings in there (if you use a router)

I use a Belkin router. Does anyone know what ports EVE uses? I haven't had this problem on any other online game I've played.

I've been having this same problem for a while.
I put port 26000 into my router and it made no difference.

I tried the same thing and no good. I don't suppose we could get a Dev to respond since that's the whole point of this forum.

Just guessing, but it sounds like a setting that kicks off your connection if you are idle for a set period of time. I would check in your router. Also make sure that your PC isn't set to "Sleep" or go to Screen Saver after a set period too. I would turn this off if it is enabled. Your PC maybe having trouble running a complex screen saver and the game at the same time.

Thanks for the help but it isn't a screen saver or the computer going to sleep. I have a high end computer and never had this problem unit the last patch. Maybe a Dev would like to chime in for a change.

I'm curious, do you get the popup box that you were disconnected from the server, or does it kick right to desktop?

I get the disconnected box and the login screen.

I get the popup disconnect window also after being returned to the login screen.
