The browser inside of EVE's UI is nice, I'm still tickled by the upgrade from a year or so ago or whenever it was.
But there are two things that are really nagging that drive me crazy, things that are EASILY fixed if a developer and QA staffer had just a few minutes or maybe an hour or two to spare. (I'm guessing, duh. Apologies if I'm heavily under-estimating.)
1) We need a "Find on Page" feature, as with Ctrl+F in a normal browser. As the functionality should already be built into the browsing component, I believe it just needs to be exposed.
2) An incredible amount of immersion is lost when the "page load" background color is all-white. It looks and feels like an integration seam, and that unnecessarily so. I'm certain that the default "page load" color can be modified easily by the devs. Perhaps it can be assigned variably to the EVE UI color scheme window background color.
I know that there are "more important" improvements that people want, like increased API proxying, Flash integration, etc., but these two things are really "simple low-hanging fruit" issues and I wish that they were prioritized.

please add too:
- possibility to add several pages as your "homepage" in case you wanna automatically open more than one tab at the start
- detachable tabs to create another browser window or "open in new window"
- drag item/contract/whatever and drop into input textbox or textarea like in good old times

If I had my way. the in game web broswer would be fully HTML5 compatable. Then we could watch videos on youtube ;-) (note. You don't need "FLASH" to watch videos but it helps)

I run eve in fixed window mode. Can't remember the last time I used the in game browser for anything.
