Who are you people? Please, do us all a favor and go find some other life in Eve.
It doesn't matter what time of day or night it is, and you're still sitting there waiting. And, as if that wasn't enough, you get bored at your little gate and go try to trash local miners. That's some good PVP there, the kind where you get people to rage quit. No matter what you claim, you are not hulkageddon. Especially when demanding monocles for ransom. Maybe you're on the payroll somehow? I doubt it; you're probably just out for lulz at others expense.
You people are what is wrong with the freedom in New Eden.
Those of you who have suffered to these pirates (any anti-pirate corps out there?), please. Join up and free Oulley, Orvolle, Aubenal, and the rest of this region for those of us who cannot fight.

I don't have a problem with them. Or go round Reschard and that lot, or hop through syndicate and CR and back in, it's fairly quiet (when FD- isn't camped).
It's a little ironic that you insist they stop what they are doing because they are destroying freedom. How about their freedom? 
As to who Wrecking Shots are? Ex WI. They got kicked out of their 0.0 BFF space so they are probably enjoying some no rules PROcamping until they get bored and accepted into some other coalition.
Just go round them, or scout. I don't know if they have smartie BS on the gates but just set up some decent on-grid observation spots to be safe.
If you are trying to get a JF or something back to high sec just wait patiently. Ideally with a different character than you posted with since this will just bring things to their attention.
No one has to 'be Hulkageddon' to suicide gank hulks. If they are smacking in local just ignore it else you give them more reason to harass you more.

We are NOT in Oulley to cause trouble for the average person. WSHOTS is currently in the process of making the area suitable for public access and travel. Part of this process involves pacification of the local indigenous population. Thank you for your understanding.

Wrecking shots is a PVP corp. Look at their killboard. They kill whatever moves. An if they can't it in 0.0 or low sec. They will sacrifice their T1 cruisers to find it in high sec. The most ruthless ones are Arkady Drayson, Kenndo, Disatro, Jake Anthony, Darkwing, ZXohne, an Poculus. One or all of those will hold you down. An the rest of the corp is just as ruthless and cut throat as the mentioned players. An make you watch them loot your wreck. Before podding you. I suggest If you really want them out. Then fit a pvp ship and form a fleet. Otherwise stop crying an play your game. Jake Anthony if your reading this. You popped my little brother. You can kiss my ( politically correct ) tail end.

I am another victim of these criminals.
I was cloaked in my scanner, looking for signatures, when scores of thrashers landed all around me. I was shocked and dismayed as they all opened up on a nearby, peaceful mining fleet. They never stood a chance, even one of the pods were destroyed before police could respond. 2 Hulks and a Covetor gone in the blink of an eye. The orca and I were the only ones left in the belt, to tell the story. That's when the screaming in local started, it still gives me chills.
I don't know why I survived, but I did what I could to help: I scooped all the loot and dropped it into a jetcan for them to pick up when they got back. I then covered them in a Stealth Bomber until their own security could arrive.
Very Tragic, and I'm still going to counseling to cope with the survivors guilt. 
I feel for you OP, please mail me next time you go mining and I'll do what I can to help.

I can tell you for 100% certain when they "aren't" there and that's when you take a gang to actually fight them. Somehow they manage to disappear into thin air if a actual fight shows up, but appear to hoard on the gate for easy gank bear kills.
I suspect it likely has something to do with all the week old shuttle pilots in every system for 2 or 3 jumps each way. In other words just another average gate camping corp.

Lol. We have already been hot dropped a few times by PL. RNK is the B-Team. PL dropped nyxes on us to kill a Tengu one night. Obviously their Aunenen perma camp isnt getting the attention that Oulley seems to be getting. Yet Aunenen is generating far more traffic and kills.

please come to my aid and mine for me because i am only built for offence, i cannot break rocks for myself and complain when others do it, so please come and do something i completely neglected to prepare for so i dont have to do it.
while you where slaving away for 100 odd days to fly that hulk, i feel it was unfair as i HAD to train up ONLY combat skills for the entire time i have been training and it is inconceivable and a crappy mechanic that this would not entitle me to complete immunity to the mining aspect of a multi aspect game.

Too much crying going on. If you get popped, you've got no one to blame but yourself for not taking the proper precautions.
To the highsec miners that get suicided...it happens. You aren't the first, and you certainly won't be the last. Mark your standings accordingly, find out what character they scouted with and mark his corp as well, then you have a better eye for who's about to jump your hulk with 10 thrashers. Don't fly what you can't afford to lose. In areas like Placid, this INCLUDES high-sec! Anyone who has been around the block here would know this after little more than a day or two of exploring in a noob ship or simply looking at dotlan for 5 minutes.
To the victims of gate camps...if you've been playing this game for more than a month and still haven't bookmarked evemaps.dotlan.net in your browser, SHAME ON YOU. You'll know about every gate camp that ever existed in the past 48 hours if you use that website. Google some popular EVE sites and USE them. Hell, sometimes I sit on the gate grid in Oulley and watch Wrecking Shots do their business. I find some of the pickings rather amusing, though I'm no fan of piracy. I've hauled things from Orvolle, I've passed through freely many times. Not once have they popped me. Why? Because I know when they play and I know how they operate.
Stop spending your whole EVE life in high-sec, grow a pair and get your feet wet every so often. Then things like this won't happen. EVE isn't Barbie Princess Dress-up. You don't just jump right into the game, throw some mods on and win. You work for what you get, and you work hard to get a lot of it. THEN you play with what you worked for. If you lose what you get, go get more of it. Rinse and repeat. Eventually, the smart people lose less often.
If you think wshots is bad, you should have been around for the horrible gate campers before them, about 5 months ago. The ones who used to abandon over 100 drones around the Oulley gate in Aubenall and lag you to oblivion. What a nightmare.

I was mad last night about a few things. They are free to play with themselves and others as they see fit. Its not like I told them to leave the Eve, but that doesn't mean I have to like it!
We need more people willing to fight them. Even a noobship can kill a BS if you have enough of them. A defeat should be enough to run them off. I think the point is to not let them stop us because they are terroists.
Maybe they AWOXed their own alliance or something.

I for one am thankful for these guys! I am new to mining and the game in general. There I was minding my own business mining in my little ole Navitas when a big mean Hulk pilot and his alt in a destroyer came and started can flipping me to make me leave "his" belt. I guess one of the WSHOT guys in local saw me getting taken advantage of so he called in their thrasher fleet and dealt swift justice to that prick. I was then told that one of them would guard me while I recovered my stolen ore.

Live a little.. Leave the gate behind every once and a while and pile into a bunch of BC's and get some actual "real" fights. Gate camping and station humping (ie lazy PVP) is why piracy is in such the pitiful state it's in these days.
Most so called pirates in EVE these days, are more risk adverse than the average high sec carebear. TBH I typically get better fights out of high sec care bears that come weekend warrioring, than I do out of average low sec pirates.
Not trying to bash you guys specifically, but low sec is pretty **** anymore but it doesn't have to be. EVE would be 100% more fun if people would quit humping gates/stations and actually come out and risk losing their precious space ships.

As to who Wrecking Shots are? Ex WI. They got kicked out of their 0.0 BFF space so they are probably enjoying some no rules PROcamping until they get bored and accepted into some other coalition.

If you are trying to get a JF or something back to high sec just wait patiently. Ideally with a different character than you posted with since this will just bring things to their attention.

Lol. We have already been hot dropped a few times by PL. RNK is the B-Team. PL dropped nyxes on us to kill a Tengu one night. Obviously their Aunenen perma camp isnt getting the attention that Oulley seems to be getting. Yet Aunenen is generating far more traffic and kills.
As for everything else in this thread? Give us all your monocles!
You guys should camp stacmon gate in ostingle in placid you will get action there trust me.
We camped there in the past a few times but found it to be rather quiet during our time there. We used to camp Aunenen alot but othere folks are camping there at the moment. Where we are isn't the greatest place to camp but its been fun enough.

I was podded yesterday and found it quite funny. The monocles bit made me chuckle. I only lost a tech 1 poorly fitted cruiser and no implants. No real loss there.
I prefer my pirates to actually be in lowsec and not masquerading as corp members. I applaud you for keeping to the true spirit of piracy.

It's nothing personal. Our corp made a fateful decision to corner the monocle market, seeing that there are already 184 sold on NeX. We figure that this will be a great investment of our time and effort to make obscene amount of isk. We even have a monocle pedo bear motif just to make the horrendous experience of being podded a little less unpleasant.

No offense, but I've always found that most gate camping corps/alliances react the same way if you brig a gang to them. They run away to a POS or station and talk **** in local, then try to play docking games with carriers.
I don't care if you camp some gate killing shuttles & noob ships all day, to each their own. I know for one we have brought gangs to try to engage you guys to get a fight, but your guys always docked up.
If you want a fight, get yourself 15 guys or so and bring it down toward Enaluri and we can have some fun shooting each other. Otherwise sit on your gate shoot pods & noob ships all day and we will just bait you every so often.

Well with any OP you want to have intel. If that intel suggests a larger/superior force approaching, you do a quick evaluation of the potential fight. If it looks bad, you safe up. Given the nature of low-sec warfare, it is never about being 'fair' it is about having the advantage. Rarely do we see a break up force during our peak times. Seems others wait until their intel suggest they have advantage, then they show up. It's the nature of the gate camp beast and pvp in general.

Heh, IIRC I was killed (and podded) at that gate a couple of weeks ago (no idea who it was, too lazy to look it up). It was my very first gate camp and, to be honest, it was quite exciting. Also, the dying & being podded part was entirely my fault and taught me some valuable lessons.
So anyway, I actually enjoy the thrill of not knowing what's on the other side of a gate, it's part of what makes travelling in low-sec a little less boring. And I'm thankful that someone's looking after all the poor asteroids in the Placid region. From what I hear, some people are actually shooting the little guys to pieces and selling the remains to the highest bidder
