I like to think that I'm a reasonably intelligent and perceptive person.
However, once again, the only way I found out about a new dev blog was to see it referenced in a random thread in General Discussion.
Normally, I see a "new dev blog" announcement on the home page in the "headline news" column. However, once again a dev blog sneaks by me (specfically live events: only the beginning)
Short of manually clicking on the blogs/archive sub-links under the 'Dev Blog' menu item on a daily basis (tedious) or searching through the random jumble of stickies in the Eve Information Portal subforum (makes my eyes bleed,) is there a good way of being informed when there's a new dev blog?

CCP already said they don't care what customers say or ask. Just what they do.
So I guess you have to live with it.
P.s. besides flame, your post showed me that there is a new [dissapointing] dev-blog

I recommend getting familiar with RSS (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rss), which is quite common these days on the interwebs.
Next, either get a dedicated RSS client, or use a modern email client that has the RSS poll function already implemented.
Finally, have a look here: http://www.eveonline.com/feed/ and subscribe to the feed you fancy (You want "devblog") . This page can be found wherever you see the RSS logo on EVE Online's webpages.

tbh, CCP has the best customer relation of any other videogame company in history. I mean, how many videogame companies will fly its gamers to iceland just to calm a bunch of mindless morons.
Does CSM or anything like it exist in any other videogame? nope!
Does any other videogame company regularly reply and read suggestion forums? (or even have a suggestion forum) nope!

As others remarked, OP use the RSS feed on this site. And learn to use it on other sites too. Makes twitter actually not suck.
Every modern browser has RSS functionality inbuilt. Usually you only need a folder to drop the RSS bookmarks into, then just hover over them to get the newest infos.

Thanks. I didn't see a RSS icon for the dev blogs. (Everything else seems to have it.) So I assumed that the were no RSS feeds for dev blogs.

Just to add, this was a specific issue i raised during the May CSM Summit and CCP took some feedback on it. Not exactly sure what they will be doing, but just wanted you to know it has been brought up to them because i also feel the way its done now is not the best.

but since i have both the dev blogs and the new in there it end up annoying me then they announce it on the news too which means i get to know about it twice lol

They don't always announce new dev blogs on the News section, or I wouldn't be whinging about it. =(
RSS is nice and all, but it's another layer to peel when a simple glance at the Eve home page should/would suffice.

I use the RSS from the Dev Blog page found here: http://www.eveonline.com/devblog.asp and I always receive notice of the new blogs.
