You don't own the can, so the loots is not yours as it belongs to the dead guy.
Anyone who takes from the can, is now flagged against the (player owned corp) dead pilot and his corp mates. That means the same risk for all when looting, what exactly is wrong with that?

incorrect, if i kill him and i take the loot i am not flagged by against the player due to having paid concord for the war dec.
currently there is virtually no recourse against a noob corp members stealing loot. as stated before pods and corpses do a crappy job at defending their cans so i hear.
The risk is still the same for both of you. The dead man's corp can shoot you as well as the noob corp alt. So where's the problem again?

not sure how things go down in low sec, havent pvped there in awhile, but generally when we kill something we dont allow members of the opposing forces to gather their dead and recoup their supplies. so, they arent on the field anymore. or maybe you are suggesting looting should happen during the fight? or the dying should instead of trying to win the battle, should try and kill the noob thrasher taking loot instead?
honestly the arguments you people put up are frankly ******ed.
You claimed there was no recourse, but that simply not the case. The corp mates of the guy who owns the can, can shoot the loot thief. Guess why, because the can is not yours and neither is the loot.
Either start gathering loot quicker, or accept your failure. Moar tears indeed.

silly troll. its hard for pods and corpses to defend cans. furthermore, my loot doesnt belong to my corpmates either actually. why would they have rights under your arguement. now i agree they shold have rights as should the pilot and the aggressors but you are to hardheaded to see why. its ok, trolls will be trolls.
by the way to the people that said go to the assembly hall, now that is a booming thread ont he subject. like 2 trolls and no other comments. glad i put that there.
I didn't say your loot belongs to your corp mates and that they had rights. I said the corp mates of the dead guy who owns the can, have rights.
You don't own the can, it not your loot, unless you are the dead guy.

Originally by: Martinez also not asking for the loot, i am ask for a change to make the loot where i can remotely defend it. not it instantly be transported to my hanger.
Why should CCP change the mechanic and give you rights to defend loot that's not yours?

because its the right thing to do. how about this you worry about low sec pvp, and allow me to worry about empire pvp, mkay, bye thanks.
Ahh, so you don't have any valid reasons. You just have an over inflated sense of entitlement.
All is clear now, thanks.

Still doesn't mean the loot is yours. It belongs can and all, to the victim.
Originally by: Martinez npc cans belong to the person who created them.
Bolded the important part.
Originally by: Martinez that is my basis for "i want" this change.
At least now you understand, 'I want' is your only reason for wanting this change.
Originally by: Martinez if you dont think that is a reason/answer you are stupid.
Oh it's a reason, but it not reason enough.
Originally by: Martinez now you may not agree with my reason or my answer but you arent ccp. i also dont think you understand the issue.
Oh we understand completely, you want.

Originally by: Martinez 1. i want to change that.
We know, you want.
Originally by: Martinez 2. i want to change that.
See above.
Originally by: Martinez 3. npc loot cans is against your arguement. why not loot faster, survival of the fastest all that crap you and tip pee spout.
Not against my argument at all. It's a mechanic to deal with the interaction between players and NPC entities and part of the reward. You'll be telling me next that if they shoot and kill you, the can should be theirs.
Originally by: Martinez 4. no i want is a change to maket he game better.
You want, yes we know.
Originally by: Martinez 5. not for you to decide. that is the csm and ccp job. this thread is for IDEAS about a solution to a problem in the idea section of the forums. you dont like the problem or the solutions stated. so you flame it repeatedly with lame comments like the one i just responded to.
I've never said it was for me to decide, but 'I want' is still not reason enough.
Originally by: Martinez 6. honestly you are bad at forums. you should stop. again this is a features and ideas forums. its all "i want" to see a change/feature in eve. go troll else where.
So in other words, you have no real argument other than 'I want'.

Martinez, crushing posts one at a time. He's a leg end in his own lunch time.
Maybe you can rely upon the CSM to pull through for you and put this forward to CCP..... Oh wait.
Oh well, at least 2.5% of people liked it. Edit: Of those that actually voted, so it's worse than you first thought. But don't worry we still think you're a great poster.

Nothing drops from self destructs. Are you telling me only war decs create cans? Suicide ganks and concord related kills for example, create cans.
But anyway, surely a thief is a thief no matter what can he takes from, if it isn't his.

Give up NightmareX, looting wrecks in high sec is not gonna change anytime soon.
Well, it's not easy to explain something to Tippia when his brain is totally blocked for any common senses and when he can't even read either.
So yeah .
I'm staying out of this post fest, but to say Tippia is blocked for any common sense and can't read, is total hogwash.
Tippia is one of the most logical and well argued posters on this forum. You may not agree with him, but his logic is undeniable.
You may now continue this posting fest of yours. Good day all.

Ahh the old 'done a blowjob' reply. I am undone.
But being serious again, his replies are perfectly valid and logical, you simply have to read and understand them.

NightmareX, You'll end up with a ban. Like this thread... aaaand this thread. The only difference is, you were using multiple alts with rather embarrassing results.
This is also a good one.
You're heading down the same road with this thread. Time to stop?

Oh noes, i have been banned for a little time some years ago. Who ****ing cares about that lol?
And why do you think i will get a ban now then?
Just because you are butthurt that you can't get me to stop replying after the answers no one have answered?
Or because i have written down the real reasons why thieves needs more risks and why the looting mechanics needs to be changed?
Yeah, when someone realize they have lost in a discusstion, then i'll guess the best way to solve that is to report the guy and hope to get him banned amriiiite?
It was a friendly warning. But I see I'm wasting my time. You're so focused on being angry with everyone that disagrees with you in some way, you're not actually reading and understanding the posts given.
I do believe the only reason you are not facing a ban right now, is due to the calm and logical replies by both Shiori Mochizuki and Tippia. Unlike the threads given, where it fell into ridiculous back and forth retorts. They have kept you somewhat in check, with your name calling and ranting nature.
Normally people learn from their mistakes and change. Well at least I tried, good luck.
