The Stock Predictors Guaranteed Winners Lottery

Dow Jones Industrial Average
Market Close Date: July 22nd (Friday) 4pm ET (July 22nd 20:00 eve time)
Prediction Close Date: July 21st 20:00 eve time (post before then)
Playing price: 1 million ISK per player only
This lottery is for players who want to be 100 percent sure that true winners are being awarded the isk they deserve for playing in a lottery that they can be confident is real. This lottery you can participate in intelligently (rather than just hoping for the best)
How SP's Lotto works:
This lottery is forum hosted by CCP and based on the idea that all the players have no serious role in changing what determines the winner of the lottery. To build trust with the host the lottery starts very small (1 million ISK per player). Each player plays by sending their 1 million isk to the host (Crescentshade) in-game. The player must also then post on the forum their prediction. The prediction is based on the stock market close. Each round a stock is chosen, such as Dow Jones Industrial Average. One or more links are provided to view the stock's history, chart, last close, etc. A date is chosen to determine the winning prediction which will be the price that the particular stock closes at on the date chosen. Stock markets close at 4pm ET. This means to win you must provide the playing fee to the host, post on the forum with your prediction and then wait for the market to close to see who the winner was.
SP's Lotto Rules: Normal
 To win the lottery the winning player(s) must follow all rules to the letter
All players that participate play the same amount of ISK into the lottery
All players play only once per round, no unfair advantages
The host(me) also plays each round meaning the host(me) follows the rules as well
To play the player provides the host the playing fee for the round AND posts on the round's forum their prediction of what the given stock will close at on the given date.
No player has the right to edit their prediction at any time. All players are obligated to think very hard about their prediction for the best results BEFORE posting their prediction and sending the ISK
All players make one prediction per character only
All predictions must be made BEFORE the prediction close date to make the lotto fair
If nobody predicts the correct price then the person(s) closest prediction to the closing price will win or have the money split between them in cases that two players are equally close to guessing correctly.
The winner(s) receive their share of all the money that was played for that round
The host's fee is being able to participate in a lottery that is truly fair to all with the same rights as the other players
If something goes incredibly awry with eve-online forums or something far outside our control which proves detrimental to this lottery then all ISK played will be returned that round.
The host(me) is not obligated to continue with rounds in the future, only to finish the round in progress and payout to the winner(s)
The host does not have the right to change any rules during a round, if the host breaks any of these rules the isk must be returned
the host may change these rules in the future rounds such as creating special rounds with slightly different rules
Keep it clean and tell your friends about the lottery because the more people that play means the more money you could win!
