Many people seem to be disappointed with crime in Eve. Especially miners every so often voice their concerns on being unfairly ganked. Their complaints are met with equally strong response from the gankster side. Hence, I'm sure that I get broad support for my suggestion:
CCP, please set up a separate Eve server for miners. On that server, you can only mine, buy and sell ore, and build mining ships and equipment.
This, I argue, will solve the problem that we miners currently face. And it will make the game such fun for us mining-oriented capsuleers.

Suicide ganking is part of the game and makes mining slightly fun.
And it provides opportunities for smart miners to get cheap killmails - if you care for that kind of thing.

Every time a corp liberates imprisoned ore, their ships are lost as the Police and Faction military ships come to your aid. We pay a price for the rights of ore minerals. We can be killed by anyone in high-sec without penalty to you. The police chase us on sight and destroy us in mere seconds. It seems to me that your mining of innocent ore is quite protected. I would suggest more intelligent tactics in how you mine. A diligent pilot is an alive pilot.
