Having read Akita T's exacting technical dissertation on all things Technetium (make the effort to look it up) and the corresponding usages of various moon minerals, is Neodymium headed up as Technetium continues it's slide?
Worth the investment? Long term HOLD or short term flip?
And will Neodymium simply continue higher at Technetiums expense, or is there a new hunch being played that has nothing to do with Technetium?

The only reason Neo isn't higher was everyone was investing in Tech. Now that the investors are scared they are selling up and moving to Neo. It's the next bottleneck after Tech and thus limited in supply.
This was all explained in the Tech threadnaught. There isn't really need for another thread. I see Neo hitting 50-55k before levelling out. Yes, buy and hold. Tech isn't going anywhere now. Too many people are scared.

No. This obvious manipulation attempt is just as pointless as the attempt to push Thalium a few weeks ago. You may be able to cause a short term panic but it won't have any legs.
Any change is 6 months away, at this stage choosing the bottleneck is complete guess work.
I can think of three (groups of) items that will provide a better investment now.

Ah, well, if by "pointless" you mean making a timely profit on a change in price created by numerous other traders, then I applaud you.

Making any long term play on anything but Tech right now is foolish until we have some idea of what CCP will be doing with moon goo in the long run. Any major changes are several production cycles away.
I wouldn't exactly recommend hoarding tech any longer but I wouldn't go selling off everything you have at bottom prices just because of a change down the line. Selling down your stockpile of Tech PROBABLY isn't a horrible idea though. The only certain thing is:
CCP isn't going to keep an R16 worth 10x as much as R64's once they make the changes.

The rise got bogged down under people excitedly cashing out, the truth will be determined over the next week or so as we see whether they get cleared out.
Personally, I'm with Herman on this.

Yes, but that ends in a few days, a quick reminder of the manipulation schedule.
Thalium last month, Neodymium this month, Platinum next.
