You know how to fly and fight in a variety of frigates, don't you? Well, it should be quite obvious how you fly the Dram.
If, on the other hand, you don't know how to fly and fight in a variety of frigates, then I suggest you stay the hell away from the Dram.
Seeing as you're asking the question at all, I'd wager that the latter case more accurately describes your current circumstance. Learn in something cheap first.

Fly cheaper frigates first.
People have learned how to kill dramiels, especially badly flown ones, so you're setting yourself up for expensive lossmails by flying one with no experience.

The pro and con about the dramiel is there are so many fits, and so many ways to fly it.
So the hard part of providing any suggestions (presuming you've flown in cheaper frigates first and have at least gotten to be an expert with kiting and hugging type dog fights) is not knowing the fit you will be using to suggest a style of fighting.

Get as many rifters as you can buy for the price of that one dramiel and lose them all.
Then buy dramiel.
