So I made my character and posed for the picture. All is well except for the fact that as soon as I entered my captain's quarters he had two horns sticking out of his forehead.
What gives?

Edit: Similarly, my picture in-game looks nothing like the one on the forum. Why is this?
I made sure to wait for him to blink so that I caught him with his eyes closed.

There's a server for character portrait. Not sure how often but it gets updated once every 24-48 hours to reflect changes made to character in game.
So, wait a few more day and the forum portrait will be the same as your ingame portrait.

Whoa, just cleared my cache and now my in-game portrait has changed to the one with the piercings. This isn't what I chose at all.
I'm not playing Eve like this. :p
5 day free reactivation. Looks like I won't be coming back for something this broken.
