Although I tend to avoid media, I couldnt help but be curious about the cause of death.
This most likely will change but for now
Quote: BREAKING NEWS: An inquest into the death of Amy Winehouse has been adjourned after it found 'no cause of death', say reports.
Source was on yahoo, meh but there wasnt actually any 'reports',.. yet |

And your point is? The fact that she was an addict means that I should feel no compassion to her? And was that racist thing required? Or you enjoy digging out **** so you could splash around in that a bit to smear everyone else near you?

Some people just can't wait to tell you how much they don't care, it's almost funny.
People are saying Winehouse made the choice to take drugs so deserves no sympathy if they led to her death yet a smoker makes the same choice to smoke but i don't remember reading such sickening comments over Patrick Swayze's sad death.
Another sad reason some people say they've no sympathy, some claim to actually be pleased, that she's dead is that she was a burden on society. This is simply ridiculous. With her riches do people honestly think she wasn't paying for private healthcare? And what about the milions of smokers that cost the NHS upto ú5bil/year?
They have a right to their opinion of course and i'm not trying to silence any of them but they have to accept that they're hypocrites if they condemn someone for an addiction to one drug but not someone else for an addiction to another.
I think the hypocrisy is fairly evident.

I think most people feel justified in their comments because most drugs are illegal whereas cigarettes aren't.

Maybe, yet they're not talking about the illegality of taking them they're talking about the addiction and the "choice" to take them.

i only have this to say, she was a role model for young ppl, and now shes died from drugs , great role model.....
many ppl die everyday from various things that they couldnŠt help, i fail to see why this one women who could sing a bit should get more press coverage than a solider who died in afganistan or a boy that was falls from a tree.
help was offered but she refused. to me this is suicide, never turn down a helping hand if its offered, that should be the lesson here.

Because she was a celebrity and the world loves celebrities. That's why we have magazines like Hello, Ok, Wassup, Balls and other garbage to feed the masses that love garbage.
And for the most part a fair few soldiers deaths are mentioned in the media, if only briefly. Especially when their march home is picketed by evil hate spewing.. uhh idiot faces!

What did Michael Jackson and Amy Winehouse have in common? Their lives both ended after a 10 year old crack addiction.
Isn't it ironic that Amy Winehouse is now shooting up the charts?
Elton John is recording a tribute song for Amy Winehouse. Candle Under The Spoon
Her tribute album is going to be called "Back to Crack"
What's the difference between Amy Winehouse and a moped? A moped can reach 30.
I have more. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Not at all. It's because we hear about them. A celebrity's disasters are so public nowadays. Pictures of AW on her door step smoking, looking frail due to her addiction sold for thousands of pounds to newspapers and magazines because of the voyeuristic public taking a sick delight in feeling morally superior.
We like to think we love celebrities but we only love to hate them and watch them fall from grace. Whether that's down to jealousy or not, i don't know, but many of them will take smug satisfaction from it nonetheless. It's quite sick really. |

So the post mortem was "inconclusive" I wonder if they are trying to decide between an accidental overdose or suicide. |

:/ didnt they say they couldnt find a cause of death because they only tested for drugs, meaning it cant of been short term drug related?
I bet it was a embolism / blood clot |

I have no clue, if it was due to an illness the coroner would have found out pretty quickly, the reports say they adjourned the inquest while they wait for toxicology reports. Hence my theory that she died from a drug overdose but they cannot decide whether it was suicide or accidental.
If that's the case it will probably be decided during the inquest. |

Amy was supposedly drug free weeks leading upto her death
As far as post-mortems go, it would have been very easy to detect if she died of drugs and which ones from initial tests, they would be fresh in her.
I bet this was a blood clot from a embolism caused by previous drug abuse, if this was drug related tests would have shown this .

Its easy to see if someone has taken drugs when the perform a post mortem but when somebody has been a long term addict the only thing they can do is run a detailed toxicological analysis, they use tissue samples and hair/nails and bone marrow as well as blood samples.
An embolism or aneurysm would have been found easily, they are other signs in the body apart from the blood clot which would have caused further investigation.
