Like any couple in a very long and involving relationship, when one turns away and no longer speaks to the other, they often ask themselves; What did I do wrong?
Many of us players are asking that question. What did we do to drive CCP away? We try asking if there is something we did wrong or if there is something more we can do to help the situation out. After a while we come to the conclusion that maybe CCP no longer wants us anymore. Have we changed for the worse?
CCP, we would like to gain your full attention again, but we are at a loss in what we need to do to repair the damage we have caused in the relationship. So can you offer us some advice on how to get that true love feeling back in this relationship? We just want thing to be like they used to be. We miss you very much.
Come back to us.

Edited by: Eilenae on 25/07/2011 04:24:48 Don't speak for me. I don't need to apologize to CCP. They sure as hell don't need to apologize to me. If I no longer feel the game is worth playing, get bored, get a hobby, etc. I'll leave. Likewise if they choose to change the game, that's their prerogative and I can then choose to continue playing or not. There is no special relationship. They are a company offering a product and I can be a consumer of that product. Nothing more.
Go outside you shut-in, take a breath, evaluate your life a little. If you feel like a mistreated or neglected spouse over this game, get help.

the worst part of this post is that CCP will probably use this in their advertising campaign.

Please don't turn this into another troll thread.
What I want to know is what can us, the players, do to get CCP to be enchanted by us again. Should more of us show up for mass testing on SiSi? Vote more in the CSM election? Come up with better ideas in Assembly Hall to help improve the game?
We need some direction CCP. We are sorry and are willing to do our part in this relationship again.

For just $9.95/month (I can create Paypal subscription) you can apologize to me as long as you wish. That's 33% cheaper than you pay to CCP for (basically same) service - I also won't ask anything / won't listen.

Some funny responses on this thread. But this relationship is more like an abusive husband. No matter how much we beg for mercy, sugga daddy is gonna keep doing what he wants and pop us in the mouths.
So what do you do with a bad hubby? You run away. Far away. There is NO reconciliation. But like a battered ***** we still keep coming back wanting to forgive. Maybe he'll be different this time around.

He's still paying for a product where part of the money he pays for that product goes into development of a rl money nosferatu rather than actual improvement of the product he's paying them for. That's what's wrong with him.

The force is strong on your weed. --- This is one of the moments where we look at what CCP does and less of what they say. Innovation takes time to set in and the predictable reaction is always to resist change |
