You will get a couple luke warm gestures that space ships actually matter while the nex team continue to try to push their abortion past DOA status. Expect no real bugs to be fixed or improvements to be made, nor any catharsis regarding customer relations.

It's a shame no one ever reads ccp posts, or knows how to read.
so here is a list of things that are going to happen.
- Super cap nerf
- ship rebalance across the board - black ops, gallente, assault frigs.
- balancing of moons and moon goo.
- industrialization boost to 0.0
- new ships
- customizeable api, starting at the end of august.
- hybrid balance / boost.

Things CCP says would want to make happen, you mean ?
Which is not the same as what will actually happen by then.
And what happens might not be actually an improvement in the long run at all.

i think the few days of crashing jita and amarr, the large amount of bad press, and other factors have convinced them to change gears.
Although ccp drop bear said more events were coming to eve, and they were going to expand events involving wh space at vegas.
Something like collect x amount of sleeper loot, turn it in, and get a sleeper arc missions.

We read them but their track record as of late is not so good.
Also, "new ships"... nah, I dont think so, they might iterate on current ships or turn it into "a ship" as it has been for some time now.

I hope the following happens
1. 0.0 sov warfare mechanics go from 'structure bashing, anal warfare' to 'quick movement, heavy involvement warfare', would explain more but there is already several idea's that allow this.
2. Dreads, EW frigs, black ops, field commands and EOS get buffed
3. More items in the Nex store, belts and scarves are necessary

I think the following things are likely to be added in the next major update:
1. Nerf stargates - these things make the game far to easy. They clearly need to be removed.
2. Buff Hulks - Mining lasers need a serious damage bump. The bears in high sec need to be able to fight off the suicide gankers
3. Nex Eyepatch - What self respecting pirate would want to be without one?
