I have looked at different setups for the nightmare and most seem to fit
4 Pulse 2 Energy transfers
3 Hardners 2 Webs 2 Tracking Comps
3 Heatsinks 1 DCU
1 Therm Rig 2 Shield ext Rigs
Is this the correct way to fit it or not as I get told I'm a noob when I mention this fit

Edited by: Aamrr on 08/08/2011 20:14:12 Good starting point. There are a few areas for improvement, however.
Assuming those tracking computers are tracking scripted, you have no range modules, nor any lock time bonuses. It's a nice start, but it could use tweaking. Specifically...
Drop a shield extender for a T2 locus coordinator +20% optimal range? Yes please. Swap a TC for a SeBo (scanres script) Cuts about 6 seconds off your locktime, letting you get about 1-2 more shots on each wave. Drop a shield extender for a T2 metastasis coordinator +20% tracking helps make up for the lost TC Lose an energy transfer for a heavy nosferatu Now you don't need energy transfer to be stable.

Your setup is fine. Aamrr is mistaken on his corrections. The only difference is maybe drop one web for a tracking. Nm are for dos not webbing. Leave that to ur vindis and other webbers. You don't need opt range.. everything mwd up to u quickly so that would be pointless. Your fit is fine other than that.

Edited by: Aamrr on 08/08/2011 20:16:30 If you have to rely on someone else for webbing, then you're not being efficient. When you do the webbing, you know how long a target has had its speed reduction and you know when it's slowed to the appropriate velocity.
Dedicated webbers cause coordination issues that cut into your site completion time. Bring your own webs.
Edit: And yeah, nossing the rats works decently enough that you shouldn't be having significant capacitor issues.

probably switch TC for a sebo. your not there to web, there are far better ships to handle webs then mare.

Swap the heat hardner to a sensor booster if you have good logis, the nos helps if you are the main neut target(what happens a lot), the fit is practically stable with a T2 transfer chain for normal purpose. The weapon rigs are highly recommended, as well as one faction fn web, with some skills to overheat and repair it with nanite paste. ---- Nerf Tank - Boost Gank!

Sensor booster, Tracking computer, Stasis webifier, almost cap stable... you got them all. This fitting is for Vanguards sites. ________________________________________________ I feel free to explore only within boundaries.

That is exactly what I use with 1 correction - I change the shield rigs out for a t2 burst areator. Just make sure that those webs are faction.
Anyone who tells you that you are a noob when you mention it doesn't know how to properly fly a nightmare.

An invulnerability field fit like i posted, even with just t2 mods seems to give quite better resistances and ehp than this fit, plus you got a spare rig. Also a tracking enhancer gives you way more effective dps than that 4th HS. I'd even sacrifice a 3rd HS for one if the nightmare had only 4 lows.

post#10 is your best bet, also switching 1 invuln for a navy version will make you even tougher.

I'm sorry, but an elutriation discharge rig is simply not necessary. When 80% of the ships you'll be flying with have a spare energy transfer if someone drops under, and you've got logistics support on top of it, there's simply no reason to waste a rigslot or calibration like that.
