Weren't we supposed to get updated and better looking backdrops (like inside wormholes) like, ages ago? When are we getting those?
Also, would it be possible if we could see what that now scrapped new raven model looked like? I really wanna see what almost was XD

The art department is too busy with Vampires online, Dust, and Incarna to worry about making the internet spaceships part of the game look sexy.

WoD and Dust are being developed by ccp branches in china and the us. the iceland branch is still 100% eve focused.

Ah true. But tons of company resources are being poured into WoD and Dust development, regardless of them being developed by separate branches.
Just look at how much of Eve has been neglected/not finished..

Shhh - if you don't remind them, maybe we're lucky and they forget about those...
On a side note, I think it's quite puzzling: A few years ago, I used to play around with some leveleditors in FPS games that looked about like incarna does now - doing a room like CQ took me about what? An hour?
But yeah - I'm forgetting they need to model the couches themselves & need to create small black holes in CCP's very own particle accelerator in order to achieve realistically messed up lighting.

The new nebulae were confirmed for next expansions, along with engine trails.
I forgot where I read this, though. Either the EVE Vegas thing, or earlier.
CCP are also looking at new ship classes, IIRC.

Before you start complaining about WoD and Dust, check your facts. CCP aren't even doing the nebulae, they hired another company to do it.

Would have been better if they had hired someone to do the carbon engine - or better they should just have licensed some cheap, dated 3d engine that looks better.

Happiness is inner stance and cannot be triggered by new pixels in your computer. Stop worry, be happy with that you have (and that's much more than it was for example 3 years ago).
