I'm not sure what CCP and the CSM are on with this new rant but it's a load of butthurt fail. Looking to cripple the little guy even further?
Let's be real for a moment if we can, Null Sec is far safer than than a wormhole. For those of you butthurt null sec kids that don't think so take a look at your Local chat real quick. Our Local doesn't show anyone coming in, we actually have to use some brains and skill to do what we do.
The logistics of moving what we haul, waiting for wormhole camps and low traffic to jump out in. Having to be careful of people who are hidden and could bubble up a wormhole and wreck our day. Lets do the math on null, jump freighter and a few throw away cynos and you're in highsec. We can't even get a freighter in our wormhole which means several jumps in an orca to move a little bit of ore.
Moving on to the wormhole itself, infrastructure hub with upgraes to help spawn belts every day? The first grav site we've got today in over two weeks. You tell me how we are winning this battle and in anyway changing the market or why it must be changed. And the actual amount of ABC ore we get from our site is nothing compared to what you find in null.
Daytrippers going into wormholes near Jita to sell ore, lets be serious about this you can't even get a hulk into a C1. A C2 you might get one or two in and our a few times. C3's will handle an orca and some hulks in a few times but the amount of ABC they will mine is limited and the chance to be ganked and loose it all will cost more than what ever you mine.
So if people did research you would see that 80% of the EVE pop. lives in highsec. With the introduction of the Noctis the amount of salvage being taken in, melted down and sold on the market has gone up over the last little while by a great deal.
So my question that I would love answered, but I know won't be, by a CSM member or a CCP member is why the proposed change? The numbers don't add up as to why this is being considered.
Man up and answer the masses!

p.s. These are my views and opinions and I am free to them, if you do not agree that is your problem.

Sorry, but these threads are quite old already. No need to post new ones especially not should they contain the same content all the others do, just less.
No, null sec isn't safer than wormholes, they're different. Local is as much of a defenders tool as an offenders. Ore indexes are global and easily viewable on map, your space can be conquered and nothing you can do about it. Logistics are not easier, just different. The only difference is that you can head into a wormhole on your trial and mine your heart out from lush arkonorroids. While doing the same in null is not only harder but much less profitable.
And hell, if you want to you can head into a c1 and BUILD a hulk, and it'll still be WAY less effort than setting up a similiar op in regular 0.0.(Wether or not you want to upgrade the systems with ihubs) Parrots, commence!

mining in 0.0 isnt hard, 0.0 logistics isnt hard. you end up shipping **** tonnes of pos fuel from empire that the jf's actually ahave to go back semi empty, filling them with compressed ore or even maxed refined high end isnt hard.
if anyone looks at the drone region minerial output it would put the rest of eve to shame. just swap the rats there to normal rat and its done, mining will be profitibel for everyone. drone mins are broken, not abc's in wh's

That's my point exactly, mining in 0.0 isn't hard, nor is mining in wormholes. Logistics in WH's isn't hard, neither is logistics in 0.0. Assuming everything risk and difficulty related regarding mining in 0.0 is equivalent you're stuck with one of them being far easier accessible than the other. Maybe consider the fact that only the deeper 0.0's have ABC-ores, while all wormholes have it. If no one can actually mine in the lower classes anyway, why is it at all an issue to remove the abc's from them?
And, no, this is by no means the most pressing matter, and I doubt anyone have claimed so. From what I can tell the vast majority of players whom are not noticably biased don't really care either way. And yes, the mineral faucet that is the drone regions is a much larger concern. Parrots, commence!

3 month in a WH C3 (no static high):
I saw in 3 month only a few stealth bomber and scan ship... all the time I could mine/hunt free and was happy to play Eve in single player modus and earn ISK like hell
few month in 0.0:
Every ass can see the Indu/Military level of all regions and choose which systems he want to camp... mining in a non-coalition is risky and full of afk cloakers
If I had to choose between mining in 0.0/WH, I would choose the WH - easy - nice - cool - quite (but no static high that has lots of traffic)
and hey.... what u think in ur WH? we had enough nerfs in 0.0 and buffs in high... did u really thought that CCP would forget the WHs? |

Art thou angry, bretherin? Eve is a game of equality of opportunity, not equality of outcome. The little guy isn't being crippled, this will be a repair to restore things to how they were intended to be. If little guys want ABC, they will need to team up with other little guys and go to where the ore is.
Calling names will get you nowhere. If fact, it will weaken your position. If you're trying to be constructive, I'd suggest examining your methods. It's certainly true that wormhole local makes things more difficult then local in other areas of space. This has been commented on recently by CCP, who has stated that they are examining local and it's use as an intel tool.
Jump freighters are killed all the time. Granted, with proper planning the chance does drop significantly, but it is still ever-present. The risks of transporting from/to/within wspace are great, but so is navigating truesec space.

Winning what battle? There is't a battle. Truesec and Wspace are simply two different animals that don't neccessarily need to compete with each other. Nullsec is an endeavor that traditionally requires the teamwork of a larger amount of people than wspace. That isn't to say that wsapce is easy, it isn't, but coordinating a smaller amount of people is easier by standard rationale. ABC ores, as CCP seems to view it, is a resource that is difficult to obtain and requires the greatest level of cooperative gameplay.
Daytripping to wspace sounds like a new and interesting activity that can be fun for everyone, whether you're the trader or someone looking to waylay and rob the trader. You're about to have another leve of complexity already added to your interesting style of gameplay, why fight it? Embrace it for what it is and realize that it will further thin the heard of those who can hack it and those who cannot.

I find it interesting that you refer to yourself as part of the masses when you acknowledge above that the vast majority of players never enter wspace. Also, you are incorrect. The problem here is on you since you're the one writing whiny forum threads. Sure, we may disagree with you, but that is far from being a problem for us. If you have no problem and the complainy nature of your thread is simple an exercise in roleplaying, so be it.
The presence of ABC's in wspace was a mistake that CCP was unaware of until confronted with the facts. That problem is being corrected and you'll soon be enjoying your area of the game in the manner which it was intended. - His name was John Turbefield!

If apparently nobody mines ABC ores in Class 1,2 or 3 WH's because it is really dangerous and/or not worth the effort, why are so many people butthurt about them being removed?

Because those of us that do industry in the holes need it for T3 production. Everything required for T3 is available in holes. Why should ABC be removed, gimping T3 production, and become the only exception to the rule?

The removal of ABC from low sec WHs will kill pretty much small-med corporations as it seems to be a niche where small fleets can operate more or less successfully. This possibly incoming nerf to WHs might kill my corps main activity in low sec which is very bad as we are not that developed to go into null sec whs.
Limiting small gang activity will not bring more subs...

i think u guys arent aware of the amount of abc-ore u can get out of a wh... NOTHING... the grav sites spawn maybe once in 2 weeks if ur lucky. how can this fu***** influence the market ?
and about the daytripping to whs from jita... thats extremly unprofitable.. u have to be lucky to find a suitable wh, that means a wh which isnt occupied and its inhabatiants arent awake, and dont forget about other visitors, and on top of that u have to find a wh which has a grav site. so u are looking for several hours, and even than ur not guaranteed to find a good inactive wh with a grav site. how again is this influencing the market ?
and wh space is dangerous, no doubt, there are ones which are completly empty like someone here said, but in others u will get lolganked within some minutes, so dont refer to whs as "empty safe places" just because u had some nice solo time in one. its always different.

I have no dog in this race. Having lived in deep 0.0 i do find the claim that 0.0 is more dangerous to be laughable.
Removing ABC from WH would seem an obvious political move rather than a gameplay move. Anyone suggesting that should be struck from the CSM for their obvious self-serving intentions.
