I do level 3 missions usually in my Enyo. Seems to me the bigger the rat the easier it is. Using only an 1 MN afterburn I I'm to fast to track so they basically just miss me all the time and the missiles they send are easily countered by a single rocket launchers with defenders.
However I just did a rogue drone complex, not much of a complex though only two stages and the last stage only contained one drone. Well this should be a walk in the park for me, the hardes part will probably be to approach it those 40km. Well at 35km it starts shooting and hitting well the first shot I noticed doing 100 damage. Well it's not brown trousers time yet as I suspected it doing mainly EM damage so as soon as it starts hitting the armor I should have good resists.
Well that was true but sadly the drone didn't really felt like staying to close to me so the silly bugger started to flying away from me and fast enough that the only chance to gain some ground was to approach it directly. I could of course try to orbit it anyway but I was to far out to do some real damage to it. It kept repairing just as I took the armor down. The only way for me to take it to hull damage was to approach it directly and minimizing the traversal velocity but that meant that the drone was also hitting me much better.
Have no idea what the rogue drones name was though.
As for multiple opponents then I'm really scared of those Gurristas Terrorists (yes the ospreys  ) they usually are 5 or 6 grouped together and spam missiles at me.
Well what's your toughest agent opponent?

I also do lvl 3 missions in an enyo and just did that drone mission. I was at about 15% armour before i got into range of that bloody drone. It was called a strain domination drone i think. I was usin blasters though cos i thought i'd test em out over my 125's. I picked the wrong mission to test em though 
I've never had a Gurristas mission cos i work in gal space so its mostly sepentis which are so easy to kill in an enyo that is not even funny. I'm very scared of angels cos they shoot havoc missiles which really hurt. Angels suprise is a *****

Toughest.. I'd say a toss up between the Supreme Drone Parasite and a Mordus Mammoth. Both got pretty decent tank for NPCs. The drone does more damage of that pair (buuut.. if you fly apoc with the standard 2 accoms+3 hardeners+etc config there's not a single mission NPC that can break your tank by itself, or even close). I'd say Mordus Mammoth, mostly because it's more annoying to chase down since it's a good deal faster and more agile than the parasite.

I think the Mordu's 1.5 mill Raven was the toughest for me, maybe that's the mammoth the guy in post above references. It was about as tough as an Angel Seraphim though, so nothing I haven't seen before :)

The mordus commander is probably a bit tougher than the mammoth. Same tank but with higher dmg output. It's a rare spawn at the end of mordus instead of the mammoth 5mil bounty i think.

completely agree, while i didnt find the final drone on that mission that bad (made pretty short work of him, even got a 231.5 wrecking hit with a t2 150mm  ) there was another drone on another mission that had a really mad speed and was able to warp scramble - I must've spent 15 mins killing him as i could barely hit him (even had my one scout drone out). Before anyone asks, my normal NPC enyo setup doesnt include a web (only 2 slots, and it doesnt usually have trouble hitting stuff)...
edit :it was a ripper drone, 12 hits from 193 shots...took 7 minutes

lol I just thought after I finished the mission, damn I'm glad I don't use blasters on this boat. Have been tempted to try though.

Aye I remember the ripper drone. I've probably been better equipped taking it out as I use 125mm rails which have better tracking plus 2xtracking enhancer II in the low slot. Of course that means that the domination drone is a bit harder as I don't have your longer range/harder hitting guns.

I just ran into one of these in my assualt frig. I figured my guns could track anything, but boy was I wrong. I ignored the drone (I could easily tank its damage) and killed everything else in the area. After shooting at it for a few minutes and not being able to hit, I finally had to warp out and warp back in.
I equipped my longest range crystals, got bearly inside the fall off, then fired and jetted away full speed. I barely managed to shoot it down before it got into web range.

Forgot the name of the NPC...lev 4 mission,,, named rat...only 250k i think... im in a tanked raven (60% thermal restance).. ez cash....BANG shelds gone VERY red.. check logs, his inferno torp hit me fot 599 damage

My opinion:
Hardest tiny rat: Matriarch Drone
Hardest little rat: Merc Wingman (annoying)
Hardest middle-sized: Zazz bodyguard
Hardest big rat: Supreme drone parasite (near impossible in my apoc, but doable in raven).

Its the Ryoku or however its spelled. He shoots infernal torps with a damage multiplier of 4.5 or so.
However I think the Angel ships are overpowered like hell in general. Hard to bring down, BSs fast as frigs and deals damage like nothing else. Even the darn wingmans do damage enough to notice to my apoc when its a few of them

Ryoko is a bugger, he/she does 1300m/s and is leathal.... Only 250k bounty to..

Hardest rat is the Supreme Parasite Drone, 2 of them is just evil. But fitting focused pulse on the Apoc and orbit below 10km, and they can't hit.. You don't even have to use an afterburner, just the regular speed. And the tank can easily handle 1 of them. Biggest problem is to travel those 40-50km towards them

I dunno if this is expected behavior, but all I do is kill off everything else around the dom drone and lure him to within 40km of the jump in point. I warp out, jump back in and just drone him to death. He'll kill off 1 or 2 of my heavies, but the other 12 make pretty short work of him since he de-ags. Oh, and he won't aggress against your ship unless you get within his range at this point. He just flies around, watching his armor and structure go bye bye....

I just ate my words. First time I ran in to the Rogue Drone Infestation mission that had the 2 dom drones on the second stage. Lost another dom
problem is they aggress on jump in. Can't just drone em to death like you can on the first stage. I couldn't tank it well enough and couldn't drone them without being pummeled in the process - got smoked trying to tank and retrieve my heavy drones.
One thing I noticed is weapon disruptors work on them pretty well. Might be possible to disrupt the tracking of one drone while arcing toward the other to get within that 5km. Sadly I need to buy a new dom to try...

Mordus Mammouth is pretty tough...but once you break his shield tanking A*S then he dies real fast...

Probably a display bug. There is a nasty bug going on that makes your armor appear full when in fact it is not and then all off the sudden you are into your armor. Clicking show info however shows you the real status of your armor. I've never had this bug myself (not that I noticed at least) but I've heard quite a few stories about it.

I had this bug lots of times but didnt realy realise it before I joined a gang and my gang stat displayed me with half armor.
