So, a week or so after Incarna was released, there was a CCP post saying that an FW blog was ready but you didn't want it to get lost in the current rage. And then you began waiting for the guy that wrote it to get back from vacation.
I believe that he has been back for a few weeks now, correct?
So, can we get that blog now? Or is there the rist in it being lost in the current flood of information?
Don't make me invoke the image of Oliver Twist asking "please, sir, may I have some more?"

In other words... Faction warfare is dead, CCP doesn't care about it. CCP is even ignoring it at FanFest and ignoring it in expansions. They have done everything short of saying it is dead to prove it is dead.
But Incarna is live... so that's something....

You misunderstood. There is no fw blog in the pipe. "The guy" on a conference (who happens to be the lead game designer) has not only come back but also went on vacation and came back from there too in the meantime. He isn't going to post about fw anytime soon since the upcoming expansion revolves around nullbears.

Since the plan is to not be "done" with 0.0 for five years, I sincerely hope this isn't the actual plan.
I mean, yeah, FW has remained unchanged (except for "bugs" in the accepting of FW missions) since its inception nearly 3 years ago. But, saying it's going to wait another 5 years before it gets looked at...

Uhhm... dude it's soundwave. There is no plan.
He will throw these things around randomly without any kind of actual intent or plan attached.
The other day he talked about how he'd like to make a new ship expansion with new cap ships because it would be time. All while knowing that something like that isn't possible due to resource constraints until probably something like 2013-2014 if you read the "Dev's answer every question" thread carefully.
Another time he stated how everything got too warm and cuddly and how moneymaking is too easy. That just after he introduces previously unheard of rewards to hisec with incursions.
I don't hate against incompetent people but this guy is a fraud. Nothing less.

TBH that statement got my blood boiling. But after thinking about it Soundwave is being ambiguous here, and of course it is on purpose. Yes, it could me a blog after the 0.0 blog. It could also mean they don't plan to look at low sec/fw for 5 years.
Either way, all us FW'ers know its annoying to state this after we have been promised multiple times that we would at least be told what was going on, and that was 5 months ago.
All in all, we the players know how awesome lowsec/fw is. We know that it is hands down the place to be for small gang warfare and solo pvp. We KNOW how great it COULD BE if it just got a little attention.
However, the dev team obviously doesn't agree with this and as a result doesn't deserve any real attention. They obviously KNOW more about lowsec (they all travel to lowsec, amiright!). Guess we should just be happy that this isn't nullbear online yet.
