Im ok with people that mine, but hell I tried it for 5 minutes and I got bored to death, if they added some sort of minigame while you mine...But watching lasers cutting rocks is a pain in the ass.

He didn't say it sucks. He stated it isn't very profitable and there are better ways to make ISK, which is true. If you want to read into the pirate emoticon then implying that pirating is more profitable than mining is entirely true.

No, there is a undertone that Mining is not cool, its easy to see that. I have a problem with Devs, making them self "cool" to win
some easy popularity points... "yeah I am also cool, I dont like miners, look at me, look at me, i am also cool" Its the schoolyard all over again.
Mining isn't cool so I don't see what your problem is.

way way back mining was "fun" thing when we corp mined with 12 people 6 of them BS mining, 3 in a cruiser. 3 haulers, Mining a week
so we can get a new battleship for the corp. It was the best isk perh we could do. Today the miners are the N... Of eve, and when even the Devs
makes fun of them, yeah you get it....
