MR: Hey George, what is that thing? George: *stairing at a red blip* I don't know. You have an idea? MR: Hmm, should we hit it George? George: Yeah, we should. Lets see what happens? MR: Ok George, prime the main guns. George: Afterwards can we hug it, and keep it ? MR: Sure thing George.
Oh wait, thats assuming everyone is an idiot like the OP is for being an idiot. Can't always get what you want, in EVE you just take it, open fire, and assume all consequences is the easiest option (once was watching NPC chat spam, then guy says his CNR got ganked and lost 3 CN Ballistics as well)
Easiest way to deal with wannabe PVPer 1. Use Dscan, good skill to use even in High sec 2. See probes, clean up afterself cause company is comming so pop those wrecks which you should assume are a loss anyway 3. Leave one BS wreck behind, preferable with loot and start working on another BS. Work it down but do not finish it. 4. Watch them heads towards first wreck, just as they approach, pop it and go back to turning second BS into wreck, hopefully you have a third BS orbiting you. 5. Once approach the second wreck pop it as well and watch them head towards third BS as you seek light drones on it (which any rube should know, won't kill a BS sooner then downtime). Eventually they will give up as you jerk them around your mission space like a puppet. 6. ???? Profiting off TEARS! have had one guy try way to hard to agress me in a Stabber after turning everything blue but what ever I was turning into wrecks. To bad it was a kill all mission, last can was a station wreck worth nothing, and it was my alts mission. So easy to avoid PVP in this game when the simplest thing to do is just open fire if you want a marauder kill! *\o/*

Originally by: Krixtal Icefluxor You are setting yourself up for boredom. No miner is gonna cry over the max 27,500 m3 of frickin' Veldspar you want to screw around with.
This is another lie. Some of them come back in bigger ships and lose that too.

Plenty of ways to make mission-runners hit you, but most peeps that do this don't share cause they don't want to wisen them up. Best you could do is join a corp that does exactly this, and try to pick up all the trade secrets.

Ignore trolls.
Find a mission running corp, check characters contract history for shiny things, join corp, offer to run a lvl 4 mission with them, kill them now run away with the loot and leave corp.
Repeat as often as necessary, sometimes needs lots of patience and train alts for it if you value your reputation.

To the original poster:
Dud, your 1st lesson is that Ninjas are the scum of EVE, as you can see you this tread
We get no love from neither so called "real pvpers" that mount gate camps and blob every poor bastard that jumps into the wrong system, nor from missioners for obvious reasons.
Anyway, getting aggro from missioners is not easy, but if you're really interested into starting it, send me a mail or contact ingame. |

amirite? That is how it is done ?
Also, know you limits. If it didn't work the first 3 times, do you think its going to work the next 5 ? Are you the little engine that thought he could? Or do you acknowledge you are beaten, fly off with a "I didn't want your kill anyway" and find something thats a better use of your time?

Wow you're a moron and you just made me really sad with your stupidity. Sad part is you're not trolling, you're just trying to seem smart.
edit: and to be on topic: if you want to have more success, use 2 characters on 2 accounts in the same corp. The most recent and rookie one should be used for the baiting purposes obviously. Also, someone posted once his research on this subject. After hunting around 200 mission runners and scanning them down, only 4 of them aggroed and only 3 he managed to catch and kill, so....
... listen to these guys and learn some real PvP.

I like the part where everyone is mad.
I also like the part where everyone who asks stupid empire/hi-sec questions get called carebears and then say: HEY I AM IN NULLSEC ALLIANCE YO THIS JUST ALT!!
If everyone on these forums who say they are in 0.0 were actually in 0.0, hi-sec would be nearly empty
(btw i am in hisec atm :( )

So is it better to warp in my "salvaging ship" first for them to aggro it? I have seen people on youtube agress a loki and a sleipnir yet I can't get anybody to agress my ruppie :(
#1 - Try using a salvage destroyer - keep traversal up. salvage and steal everything.
Sooner or later, they gonna shoot!

Edited by: Gibbo3771 on 23/08/2011 15:33:56 Firstly I do proper pvp, i fly ships into blobs and leave with either a km, a lossmial and/or a smile....however during my inactive and very busy periods i take up different things, things where i can dock without having to worry or log in space.
I do the odd missioning days when i dont have time to pvp I even do some trading, however....
I have also tried what the op is trying to do..what makes you think that he isent just a pvp'er wanting to do something different for a short time or something that requires less attention?
I also have had very little luck with this and the scanning just feels like a horrible grind, best of luck tho.
Everyone in here is mad

can you guys target high-sec corps or well any corps that are using the Navy Scorpion Issue. This is as gone waaayy down. Not enough demands imo. So shoot those ships so we can get the prices up again. That ship is underprices if you ask me

Most likely because no one likes you in-game as well. Just saying. Don't hate the messenger.
Also, mission runners are well, interested in their mission, not with some silly cruiser trying to pick a fight because he is too scared from low-sec pvp. |

I love this quaint little idea that it is possible to be scared or cowardly in a game of spaceships on the internet. Never fails to make me chuckle.

Nobody should be safe anywhere in this game. That is the basic premise; it is a harsh universe, you do what you can to make a dime and you have to watch out. The simple fact that CCP allows people to stay in noob corps for years and years irks me, as it irks a LOT of people because it shouldn't be possible. They should, at the very least, have to make their own corporation after X amount of time, or get booted to an "intermediate NPC corp" that is capable of receiving a wardec. This game is meant to be played with other people, and allowing individuals to stay in NPC corps does NOT foster community. The rest of us have to live the dangerous life, so why shouldn't they as well? Because they don't have to worry about wardecs, you have mission runners who have rediculously expensive ships with hardly a way to lose them. This is where these lame tactics have to be used because you CANNOT kill them any other way. So, to the OP, I say GOOD! GO FOR IT, YOU ARE DOING A SERVICE TO BALANCE THE GAME AND MAKE IT HOW IT'S SUPPOSED TO BE.
Until CCP makes it so people cannot stay in noob corps indefinitely, these tactics are going to be more and more popular.

Edited by: Russell Casey on 25/08/2011 01:10:47 Highsec piracy, be it can-flipping, ninjaing, suicide ganking or even war decing, is like standing on a street corner asking every person who walks by to give you a blow-job.
Most of the time they will:
1)Say no. 2)Hit you. 3)Mace you 4)Arrest you.
But, when it's all said and done, you'll have gotten a lot of blow jobs. It's just a matter of persistance and finding the best way to sell yourself.
