I know they haven't been seeded for awhile. I just want to know when we can expect to see their blueprint copies being seeded again. Apparently some CCP staffer finally got around to telling us why they were removed ("distribution system was flawed" or something like that but I can't be arsed to look the specific post up given the forums' amazing search function) but they seem to have fallen off to the wayside...like many other aspects of non-Incarna Eve All I want is the ability to buy one again for less than like 5 bajillion zillion ISK, or to acquire a BPC and build it myself.
Just gonna throw it out there now that if it's gonna cost me aurum to buy faction structures you can expect -2 subs. The NeX store is an utter failure and waste of resources and tying things like faction towers to it would make it even more terrible than it already is (indestructible items that cost 70 bucks? What idiot thought that would be a good idea in EVE? ...Hilmar I'm looking at you), so get that idea out of your heads now and save yourselves a heap of trouble CCP.
TL;DR give us faction towers back, dammit. -- Need a break from EVE? |

I guess it's not that important of an issue. Just another game feature removed by CCP and sacrificed to the lag gods. -- Need a break from EVE? |

From what I read awhile back, it dissapeerd under an expansion. Nothing said if it was a bug.. But manufacturers started complaining that they werent dropping as bpc loot anymore. Guess ccp doesnt want them back on market since its not been fixxed. |

They where removed from the drop table during the Incursion expansion. They where removed because CCP wanted them to be more rare and where looking into a better way to distribute them.

Heh. Guess putting them on every faction spawn drop list was a bit too abundant, eh?
I remember mining in a grav site in highsec, getting a random angel faction spawn, the lowest kind of frigate, and it dropped a large artillery BPC. --------

They vanished a few patches ago. The tower faction bpc use to drop from high level radar sites. They no longer do. Best guess was ccp planned to put them in the nex store till backlash.

True Sansha medium tower is only like 450 mil isk in dodixie. I do not know much about pricing for POS stuff but I can guess that OP is a troll. "Sweet Jesus, It's an Anti-AT field!"

Originally by: CCP Dropbear Just relaying things here guys, so I can't speak to the matter in detail.
For those that missed it, in the "Devs Answer Everything" thread, this was addressed already by CCP Greyscale:
Quote: We're looking at adjusting the supply of these at some point in the reasonably near future, possibly.
So...we are already aware of it. No need to file bug reports.
Faction towers will go back in someday if we can ensure a better distribution of them. That's the issue here, and as others noted, it's exacerbated by high-sec (low-risk) POS, and so on. End of the day it's a distribution method that wasn't working as intended and needs a fix, if one is even possible (hence the "possibly" in Greyscale's reply).
I'm sorry we can't provide more details right now, but that's where this particular thing is at right now. BFF has much bigger fish to fry, I think you'd all agree, so it'll get some attention, but only once other priorities are dealt with.

:tinfoil:
CCP is trying to artificially increase the demand of PI materials(POS Fuel) so they can better market the interaction between Dust and Eve.

My vote is that its an experiment on CCP's part to gauge what effect scarcity has on the actual price of an item in the Eve markets...

Don't worry, they will return shortly to a NeX store near you.

Here's an idea: stop leaving all the development of EVE to just team BFF and maybe move some devs off Twilight Online and back to CCP's moneymaker. Gee, whiz, that was simple. I mean, seriously, if BFF has bigger fish to fry than fixing something that was in the game already(which means no work needed from the art team) give it to another group to work on.
Of course, the problem here is that nobody else is working on EVE at the company of 600 people. -- Need a break from EVE? |

Well to be fair there is always Team Gridlock. Though they just work on server performance.
