Minmatar 'Academics'? There's the lie, right there.

Originally by: Nakal Ashera Mister Octirant, I don't think I need to remind you that much of the present Matari system of education is based on our own... Well, the Federations, rather. If you believe that the society in incapable of producing "Academics", then it's clear to where one should point the finger.
Many things are based on other things.
My niece recently produced a finger painting that was 'based' on the work on Intaki artist Suri Naatha.
While I may have told my niece otherwise, there was a gulf in quality between her finger painting and Naatha's work.

Hey, I got a joke for ya:
Q: What does a Fed Nationalist see when s/he looks into a mirror? A: God.
Why would I see an Amarrian control-fantasy when I look in the mirror?
Your joke needs work.

Oh, for... ...!
Not as much work as your sense of irony:
(Tarryn's tone changes such that he sounds like he's explaing something very simple to a small, quite-annoying, and very, very, slow child)
See, your bigoted closed-mindedness w/r/t Minmtar is no different from that of the Amarr, despite your two nations being nominally hostile to each other, and professing to espouse philosophies that are in many ways each others' diametric opposites.
In other words, you sound just like an Invisible-Sky-Wizard-fellating Amarr, despite nominally standing against everything the Amarr supposedly represent.
That's called ironic humour, the best kind because the one displaying it, who is thus the target thereof, clearly doesn't even know it. Get it now?
(I really didn't think that joke was too subtle, even for you ...Oh well, that's what I get for overestimating people's intelligence, I guess.)
You must be one of these Minmatar 'Academics' we hear tell about. You are a credit to your people.

Originally by: Nakal Ashera Mister Octirant, I'm getting the impression you have some level of contempt for the Republic, despite them being the Federations closest - And only, probably - major ally. Might I ask why this is?
Madame, nothing could be further from the truth.

Don't pander to them, silly girl. Those people would see your 'Light on the Hill' snuffed out forever.
