For the first time ever CCP not release quarterly with insulting reason of "too much work" to release it. So for lots of years it was ok and suddenly its "too much work". Even ******ed will understand they not releasing it because it will show catastrophic number of unsubs and that's not what they want to show. If they even for a second thought that people not understand the reason behind holding quarterly they must be really lost.
In general they go from bad to worst in their attempts at damage control. It almost feels like they want to do more damage then to contain it. Or may be they don't understand that their player base isn't youth 13-17 but grown ups 25-45.
You know CCP, people interested in space technology/genre/games usually have a little bit higher IQ then general population. May be you should start compensating your policies accordingly.

I agree with some of the Posts
CCP has lost their vision on what this game is, and is trying to make something else out
of it. Too bad. Lots of players put lots of time and money into something that was not delivered as promised. Been that way since dominion. Too bad really.......but......this sub runs out in October, we'll see what happens, if anything, before then. DUST514 is a
quick run for the bucks, but will be short lived and die in the end. Too bad so much effort has been put into it, and not eve itself.

Basically, Hilmar wanted to see actions, not words, and a whole bunch of people WHO DON'T HATE EVE have shown their displeasure by their actions.
Obviously they hope that CCP will take heed, so they may not want to burn their bridges with EVE completely. That's understandable.
Whether it's enough people to affect CCP's decision, we don't know, but it's obviously not a negligible amount of people, otherwise CCP wouldn't have had the CSM meeting. But the true effects of whatever unsubs there have been will only start to become apparent in a staggered fashion in the coming year (if the replacement rate isn't high enough).

That's partly what the customer forums are for. You can contact CCP with your idea that customer feedback is more effectively gained through the number of account cancellations (fictitious or otherwise, which CCP unlike yourself, would actually know) if you like.
On the other hand, CCP may have a business case for encouraging such public feedback that is more persuasive than your "they are all morons who don't really exist" approach to customer care.
Customer care, though, is where it is at. The questions being do they, really, and if not will they continue to have them?

One thing some of the posters here forget is this...
Characters are STILL bought in bulk on the sale forum for macro use...
In other words, the bots in null sec make so much isk, that the people who run them just buy up dozens of accounts for isk, pay the transfer fee, then use the bots until they get cost...
How is that possible? Well, those bots are making tens of millions of isk per hour--billions per week...
If you don't believe this, do this...
 get a t3 of cover op, fly thru russian space
 check the corp tickers of so many of the macro ratters out there
At first I was like this, "Wow, there is an IAC pilot I knew..." or "Hey, John, you left IT for the Russians?" or "Yo, Steve, why are you in the drone regions."
Then it dawned on me--they all had quit, sold their accounts, and now the macro farmers were using their accounts to farm until they got banned!
Talk about sad!

So you posted that you have sold all of your PvP characters but then list sales threads to mining characters. Unless that isn't OP, this doesn't make sense. Mining hasn't changed in years, what would make you sell your Hulk/Orca pilots?

I think your confusing me with the OP. I've only sold my mining toons plus 1 Tengu pilot. Can't find the sales link or I would post that one as well...
I have only 3 playable chars left on 2 accts. 1 char training for PERFECT tengu, and my 2 mains which are R&D/BPO Research chars.
Sold the mining corp off to downsize the number of accounts I have due to my unhappiness with the lies CCP has dropped on all of the game players.
