Martian States	Posted - 2011.08.24 16:21:00 - [37] your database server has issue, as usual your network has issue, lag at hell ( as usual) and your programming code has issue, so it buggy Hence, your DB, network and programing has issue, what else can have issue in a IT project????? and you server is only running 23 1/2 hours a day, mimus all those issue , you uptime is not even 95 %. this is hilarious. I've been in tones of project with finance and backing sector, and we need to guranteee the availability is 99.9999, or we need toi pay a huge fine. Where the hell to you spend our subscription fee at? buying coffee? or you guys still not satisty with that and even wanna get more money from us by , what, micro transaction?

Sorry, but you're sounding like an idiot. I can't think of any MMO with 99.999% uptime. MMO & Game Servers differ to business servers in a multitude of ways. @Dev Guy You said the server was up? but it be down.

But such losses are always legit for petition and refund.

So what you're saying... is you don't know the difference between a server used for finance and "backing" and say, eve online... and you drink extremely expensive coffee. Maybe I'm just missing the point

daddys helper	Posted - 2011.08.24 17:12:00 - [58] I'm thinking the 600 employees working on screwing eve up are partly to blame for CCP not dumping much needed cash into the DB servers. either that or the 600 gallon salt-water fish tank that probably costs a couple grand a year to maintain. Frankly I'd rather have a working DB than glitter vamps, mercs, MT or a useless fishtank a few thousand miles away. but that's just me. and on that note CCP you can be damn glad I'm not the one approving expenditures or the employee cafeteria would be serving fresh fish and marmite on white bread.
