Are the 1.1 patch notes a joke? When are you going to fix the bugs / annoyances you introduced in Incarna 1.0?
The warp tunnel still doesn't consistently appear. Players still have to recustomize their entire appearance / portrait when jump cloning. Separate hotkeys for click+hotkey vs hotkey+click. Drone behavior is ****ed. They still change targets on a whim.

Bugs should be fixed prior to new features, imo.

That is one constant that seems to run among most, if not all, MMO's. Yet it seems to be the one thing that the game companies ignore.

Unfortunately CCP has research that indicates that new features sell more subscriptions than bug fixes. --Vel

1. The bug was introduced with one of the last Incursion patches, before the Incarna release. 2. It has something to do with NEX-clothing travelling not with you when you jump clone. 3. Don't care 4. This bug is almost like an old friend since it has been in EVE at least since I joined the game after the Cold War release.

Oh for reason's sake people. Look at the patch notes, if you don't know something consult google. They did a nice job with this patch. You can't expect them to fix everything in two month. It's just not realistic. This patch does fix (in theory) lag that people were complaining for ages here. It fixes more things. Just read the patch notes. Yes it does not fix everything or most of things. But it's just the first patch and it goes right direction we all asked for. I whined a lot on forums about things I don't like (MT shop I still don't like and won't like unless items destructible and sold on regular markets and produced by players) but this patch goes right way and I have a decency to admit it and say thank you to developers for it.
Give them a break, let them work on it and may be even give them some credit for actually doing it.

The difference is I don't give a flying monkey's blowhole what you think because in twenty years neither of us will remember this conversation or at the very least I will not, because that is how much any of this matters.
The patch notes never contain all the information, nor does CCP have to sit here and justify to us what they could and could not do in the time frame before they released the patch. If you want an angry mindless cacophony of a mob to run the game inside and out from the exact flavor, temperature, and volume of his first cup of coffee when a CCP employee walks in the door to the duration and frequency of the last fart he squeezes out on the walk to his car in the lot, feel free, but I for one know better.

I love how these supposedly game breaking bugs that are so prevalent, that everyone knows about, that everyone is whining about
never seem to happen to me at all.
Funny how that works.
In particular, are you saying you're not able to warp at all? Because if you're just whining about a graphics glitch, that's pretty pathetic.

Well see, it's just a graphic glitch, or some other glitch...but those 'glitches' continue to add-up without being fixed (see "1000 paper cuts" thread and "known issues" thread).
Historically, patches have introduced about one bug for every four pieces of new content. A patch the size of Thursday's with so little obvious content means much tinkering with code which portends a higher probability of bugs than usual in exchange for the limited content.
The only 'good' thing is that the bulk of the patch is out of game Spacebook crap that shouldn't affect gameplay.

Um I think erratic drone behavior and the hot-key issues are pretty game breaking. Just ask anyone that actually plays the game since you obviously don't. The Monocle Definition CCP - Originally by: Imuran Cannot code properly

It's better if CCP delays the release of a major upgrade, such as StacklessIO, rather than risk introducing truly significant bugs. Drones not always following orders and minor graphics glitches are not significant, though they may be annoying.
This patch does contain quite a few good improvements. In general any bug fixes and game improvements are good, so am really not sure what folk are complaining about. Even if you personally do not use a particular aspect of the game, such as the CQ, that doesn't mean that other players will not benefit from improvements to that aspect. For full disclosure, I have had CQ turned off from the day it was added to the game, and most likely will not use it so long as CCP allows us the option.

Who cares about the patch? What I want to know is when CCP is going to release more new fashion, fast fashion in the NeX store.

oh i'd say almost all who posted here care except you, you're too busy wondering what pants to wear on ya doll today, and what you can put on ya doll next week.
back on subject, yea **** off whiners, i've never played a game that didn't have bugs, just because you can't see them doesn't mean they're not there.
i've said this before, when ccp **** up everyone screams, when ccp does a hell of a job very few say well done. if you find yourself bored of eve take a break, when ya come back you're still bored, please don't log onto the forums for a whine, unsub, give ya ****e to a newb and **** off it's that simple, if you feel you need to tell someone how you feel, petition it, **** me i'm sick of soap box idiots looking for attention. might i quote full metal jacket,
"What is your major malfunction, numbnuts? Didn't Mommy and Daddy show you enough attention when you were a child?"

i wonder if they have fixed the "impersonating" feature on the new forums as they will be releasing them or if they are just sticking the head in the sand about it saying in true CCP fashion "our logs show nothing"

A 'lightweight' patch is inevitable, given the proportion of CCP resources are focused on non-EVE activities.
I guess this does show how little CCP time is being spent on EVE now. It's a very risky strategy though, giving their existing cutomer base the finger and focusing almost everything on stuff that isn't anywhere near ready yet.

Guys! Less of the negativity!
See the pros: The smaller the patch, the less to screw up.

Switching ships while docked in a station no longer causes a session change.
That's the only worthwhile thing they did this patch it is a joke, the continuing **** take of us by CCP. Fix the warp animation already ffs.

Originally by: Dirk Decibel Tbh, these patch notes are such a dissapointment that I'm considering dropping another account. As CCP will look more to what we do then what we say. It expires in 6 days and I hardly use it to begin with.
"I'm considering dropping another account" <--- yes, tell us that you have loads of accounts and that CCP really cares about a carebear. :-DDD

Yet you continue to pay them.
I think the joke is on you.
6 month subs on three accounts, paid for with cash the past 5 years expire in early December. Then I will dwindle my 50B isk down using plexes in the hope CCP gets their act together all the while complaining on the forums.
After all that, well then, hasta la vista.
Either way, Guild Wars 2 and BF3 soon. $$$

Yes, Id like to CCP say that as Im pretty sure the financial repercussions of what follows in that movie to the person that says that would happen to CCCP -------- CCP knows better than the players whats good for their game. SOE knew what was best for SWG too. Better than all those players that left too. This is your NGE/CU moment CCP. |

I wish I remembered the man hours the new forums took that were down again in what 24 hours cause of the glaring security flaws?
Hell WiS has been coming as long as Ive been playing and it was "coming soon" on 2006. Now we all have a room. One room, five years work. -------- CCP knows better than the players whats good for their game. SOE knew what was best for SWG too. Better than all those players that left too. Still not fixed properly.
For drones that are deployed in space the correct attributes are not displayed. It only works for drones that are physically in your drone bay "My ambition is handicapped by laziness"
