These forums have been quite entertaining lately with all the bickering going on, but the contention is feeding on itself and creating something of a negative vibe. I figured I would release the 2nd installment of my rep griding bond to lighten the mood with my charm! Terms: As before, I would like the total sum of 1 billion ISK from public investors. Upon the reciept of the full amount from all involved parties, I will immediately repay all invested ISK plus 5% interest. This will tie up your money for a very short time (few days at most!) and will net a quick profit. Would like 5 smaller investors @ 200m each if possible, but again, willing to take fewer if I must. Business Plan: Absolutely none! I will not risk the investment money on any purchases or deals of any sort. It will sit securely in my wallet until the terms are fulfilled, then will be repayed. The purpose of this offering is for my MD rep grinding only, to continue to prove that I am a trustworthy character. Future offerings: I will be slowly pushing up the envelope of how much/how many assets I can be trusted with, at what I think is a reasonable pace. This pace partly depends on how much time I spend playing Eve and how much interest I can afford to pay out during a given period. However, the bond amount will not always be bigger on each subsequent offering. I reserve the right to offer the same size or smaller bonds if/when my playtime is limited by external factors. Why is this bond 1 billion again, why not try to scam more money? Quite simply, I do not feel comfortable paying interest on a larger amount at this time. I havent been as active recently, and I'm relying on passive income almost excluseively this time. (DAMN YOU STARCRAFT 2!) I'm not looking to sidetrack anyone else's thread but when my name is mentioned in an antagonistical manner if i'm so inclined i'll respond. Trying to use psychology to limit my posting on a forum I pay access for is a waste of time. I think you and perhaps a few others seriously misconstrue how much thought I put into what either of you say. I also believe the few misconstrue how much a post on this forum influences anything anyone does. It's typical of forum lurkers for any game or subject. They believe that what they post is making a difference. Reality check. It isn't. You telling me you're witnessing a meltdown when im having fun is akin to my grocer hearing me talk about a car problem or some other life annoyance and proceed to try and convince me he can make a psychiatric diagnosis of my inner quirks. And one more thing, the whole, you're raging, you're mad routine is tired. Why would I be mad when I have the option to ignore you whenever I choose? It goes back more to the self delusion of self importance that so many suffer from.

Also Kethas, there are primarily 2 reasons for this bond being only 1b and thus not further increasing the amount that I can be trusted with. 1. As I mentioned before, my playtime has been severely limited due to stupidly addicting maps on SC2. The ISK used to pay the interest this time is PASSIVE income only, and I am not yet prepared to pay additional interest. 2. Partially to delay the inevitable accusations of "blah blah blah blah cashout scam blah blah blah" I know as soon as I offer an opportunity for a larger amount the trolls will return with renewed vigor, and I will cross that bridge soon. ^^ U see wut I did ther?

Not a stretchy shaky limb but one I believe investors will still consider an acceptable risk; I could be wrong though! We'll see what happens. This "Bond" seemed as a very low risk to me and for the 5% interest during 6 hours it was a good deal. What's a bit more subtle - and what I think most people understand subconsciously, but don't actually think about - is that slightly larger offerings can also be considered "safe." If I value the time and energy of running a successful offering of some sort on MD at, say, 200M, then if I previously returned 1B of borrowers' money, an offering of 1.2B from me is "safe" for the same reason as 1B would be. What's interesting is that if you repeat the process, you can handle 1.4B, 1.6B, ... etc. It's thus possible, in a very real and quantifiable sense, to convert "time and energy on the Market Discussions forum" into "capital ceiling at or below which I am known to be trustworthy" to an arbitrarily high desired amount while keeping investors' money "safe." Not saying I like the exchange rate, but it's interesting to think about. Bigger post re: "rep grinding" coming later.

What's harder to ascertain however is if you intend to, when you will split off. You can compare a bond of 1billion isk to let's say 10billion and weigh up the risks but, with such (relatively) small increases there's not much to go on.

In other words: I have no way to tell if Jaxx is a good-faith borrower or not and have no advice for potential investors. (That being said, if you do end up doing the whole 1B, 1.2, 1.4, ... offering thing, I salute your dedication and would even seriously consider investing.)
