Can it be done? My gf just gave me an Acer A500 tablet for my birthday and I'd like to use it for quick market order checks and such while not at my regular PC.
The tablet has an Android OS but I'm not sure how much that will affect any possibility of installing the client, knowing the dedicated OS's are windows and MAC.
Anyway, any help would be greatly appreciated and many thanks in advance.

I talked to my friend who is a computer geek he says something about that only if it has a boolean trigger in the primary coding command key.
So basically yeah, he is smart and you should ask someone like him.

Open up a remote desktop? If you're just doing basic in-station things, it might not be too much of a problem, obviously have WiS disabled!!

I know someone installed the eve client and had it running on a HP Touchpad i think it was, reinstalled with some linux client (not webOS)
So i think its more about your OS then the HW.

This, i've seen it run (poorly) on an ipod touch, and slightly less poorly on a tablet. It can be done, but it runs so crap that even market stuff is a chore.

Install EVEMon and use your Full API, it lists all current market orders and their status (click the little yellow key icon on your character window and set it to display the market tab).

VPN is how I have seen people do it on phones/tablets in the past.

Yea that's a good one too, VPN and RDP circumvents hardware limitations for sure, although it doesn't take care of bandwidth limitations tho, running in full color mode may still be an issue, not sure how the EVE client would show in True Color, etc. esp. if they were not using WiFi.

I have an iPad 2 and have attempted to use VNC for performing basic market tasks like updating orders, but it's quite uncomfortable, would not recommend.

I run splashtop on my ipad and pc, then have it signed into google. if you then set eve to run in a window, it will then display on the desktop remotely.
I can just jump onto any wifi network (or even using strong 3G signal) and access the PC and the client. You wouldn't want to run missions or combat on it, but the CQ appears fine and all the market stuff works a treat.
