There are a few basic questions about gas mining I can't seem to get answered for the simple fact that nobody bothers with the stuff outside of nullsec. So I'll ask them here, where all the weirdos come.
1. How long will it take a single gas harvester to suck up a lowsec gas cloud, typically?
2. How much cargospace will a fully harvested cloud take up?
3. How much money can I expect to make from a single Ladar lowsec site?
If you could answer the wh iterations of these as well, that'd be great.

Not kept data and there is a huge spread, but I would say in our C3 with one harvester it would be an hour for the smallest to many hours for the largest. And you can fill an industrial.

Don't suppose you'd remember the site name? I'd be mostly interested in the smallest gas clouds if they can fill an indy.

these are some of my finds on this in low sec:
1) with 5 tech 2 gas suckers, about 30-40 minutes.
2) usually 10m3 per unit, 500 units so 5000m3
3) 30-40M if you take it all the way to Jita.

Ah. While the time-estimate isn't for a single gas cloud harvester, if it takes that long with that many, the one or two t1 harvesters I'm considering won't be at all efficient.
Those are some nice payouts, though. I was hoping for something more like .01 m3 with the same number of units so I could fit it in my nomadic frigate.
Thanks for the answers, all. Glad to finally get some.

If your looking for an easy way to get rich in low sec, gassing aint it. Btw, it's very common in wormholes, and can be profitable if you've got 2 or 3 characters, also gas V is a must. ______

A 5k C32 in a C4 takes around 2hrs with gas mining 5 and 5 T2 miners. Painfuly boring as much as ice mining but can be profitable.

Yeah, as it is right now I do radar and mag sites, not interested in Gravi, but I was curious if ladar might be worth carrying around a gas harvester or two as I wander around.

I smell DRUGS!
The Mykoserocin is worth about 5-16K a unit, The Cyto is worth 50-150K a unit and is rare in low sec. If the mechanics haven't changed, you are going to have to find what constellation the gas is native too and harvest it there. It does appear more frequently in certain systems than others within the booster constellation.
Some of a good Ladar sites have PVE content you will have to blast through to get the goodies.
Honestly I can not remember how much the clouds dropped, but I do remember it taking about 45mins to an hour and a half to pop the clusters solo. Good Luck Sir.
