have enyone a number of POS?
1. Can you make money with RAW and the other reactions?
2. For the future ... is a POS in 0,0 a safe point?
3. Which Tower is the best choice, if one wants to produce and defend oneself?
4. Which RAW's is needed at most? How frequently are these to be found?
5. Will agents offer this Constructions Componeneten in the future further as reward? Or does this RAW gain more significance than now?

the best 0.0 ct i've found is the Amarr ct, with the other types of weapons you need to keep brining ammo down, which is annoying as hell  our 0.0 pos is also imperitive, even though we only use it to refine. But it keeps our ships and equipment safe while were offline.
Noone will know the number of POS's in the game other than CCP. Inside the CT theres an option to claim space, so alliances can show that they have a pos there.
and what is "RAW" ?

Number of POS: Every System that is claimed by a Aliance have to have a tleast one POS. Then I ade the 4 POS we have and are not showed, add som other POS I know and then extrapolate => at least 100 POS atm
1. Making money with POS is actualy possible but still needs a lot of work and lot of money to invest.
2. POS is better than any Save Spot you can ever have. Unless CCP release some uberPOSkill0r wepons nothing will kill an armed POS.
3. Definitly Caldarie. It is the tower with the most CPU and CPU is the only thing limiting your production capability on the POS. The defend Capability does not mather cause even 2 smal hybrit/laser or projectile sentrys on a caldarie tower wich don't give boni for them, will still kill an BS in about 2 shoots each or less.
4. Atm Promethium is the Raw Maaterial with the highest lake of supply and therefore is the most valuable. 9'000 Isk per unit atm wich will give you an profit of 10 mio a day by only harvesting it and not doing any reactons at the same time.
5. The demand on Construction Components will rise with the Nr. of T2 Bpo introduced and there is already an shortage in some Construction Components and Advanced Materials (Ferrogel i.e.). Therefore the Raw will certently be importatn in the future.

probly more than 100 pos out there. 100 seems a little low.
1. yes, if pos is setup on a moon with good materials.
2. pos right now is a safe spot with guns. Only way to take a pos down now is by blockading it so the pos runs out of fuel.
3. caldari tower is the best. you dont need many guns to defend a pos so high powergrid isnt an issue. Prodcution modules take cpu, so more cpu is better.
4. prometium is probly. last i checked prices were around 10k a unit. (varies on region/time/date ect)
5. lab slots and factories wont be introduced until later. I believe the items are ingame, just not active. Theres certain balance issues that need to be worked out.

100 seems extremely low, my 80 person corp (meh, i think half are alts) has 4 POS's in operation.
3 mining in empire, 1 used to refine in deep 0.0

i wouldnt be shocked to hear 500 pos are in operation
but if i was guessing id say closer to 300 are running
it seems the avrage daily fuel bought i think is enough for close to 100 pos
figure only one out of three pos buy there fuel , i think 300 is a safe bet

Seeing a POS in the flesh can be an expensive experience. Many are set to aggress anything that approaches and has stndings that are neutral or negative...
