Admiral Rodj Blake recently stepped down as chief executive of renowned Amarrian capsuleer corporation PIE Inc. in favour of Admiral Mitara Newelle, with Adm. Blake taking up a new role in an allied corporation.
Surprising !
Admiral Blake is notoriously difficult to interview, with requests for comments on previous issues being met with statements such as: GÇ£I am always happy to discuss matters with reputable news organisations, and if one of them asks me about this matter I will be sure to answer them.GÇ¥
Humorous !
Documents shown to members of Gutter Press revealed the existence of a long term plot within PIE Inc. to subvert the position of Admiral Blake, in favour of parties unknown.
Amazing !
Other informants approached Gutter Press staff with statements such as: "It's all about the contents of Hangar X", claiming that on an unnamed station somewhere in the Empire, there is a PIE Inc. owned hangar with all manner of scandalous and amazing artifacts, including claims of a "Gold plated Rifter, with an inscription on it saying 'To my dear friend Rodj, from Maleatu", which if true, means that Sanmatar Shakor himself gave Admiral Blake a golden Rifter!

As usual, Muck Raker has got things completely wrong. Is it any wonder that people are reluctant to talk to her?
There is no cloak of mystery surrounding my departure. I stepped down simply because it was the right time to do so.
There was no plot to remove me. If anything, people plotted to keep me in PIE!
There is no gold-plated Rifter. I have golden ships, but they are all of superior Amarrian design.
