Ever since I started EVE, I've always wondered about how people felt about the idea of customized paint jobs on ships.
Now I don't mean paint jobs in the way of pimping a ride. I mean it by, say you're corp fancies itself being aligned with EoM. Why isn't there an option to add a skin to your ship that matches the faction your corp identifies with? Sure it would mostly be for RP purposes, but I think CCP would save themselves some trouble by letting the pilot choose a design or possibly create one for each ship. Every hull would come in its standard race skin, but what if you're in FW on the Amarr side and you want your Megathron to be gold?
...wait....gold Megathron?
I think I just answered my own question as to why this hasn't been done.
I would still like some elaboration from pilots with more experience or just anyone with an astute observation on this subject. |

CCp has said they want to do it, but they needed to V3 all ships first and then solve the TTP problem. |

I think that's "the trolling player" problem, but I'm not sure. 
Maybe I was actually sleeping in front of my computer and dreamed I posted. Certainly, it's not there now. |

Seriously, who? I like shooting those over sensitive nutter jobs, and it helps to have a list.

Fine. As long as there is a ten minute timer for being docked in a station. Also, you can't stop moving in the game. Just add in a way so every ten minutes you are randomly warped to the nearest other player. Keeps people from going AFK. |
