-----
Greetings!
Let me take a few minutes to introduce the Grand Banks Lottery. Inspired by BIG I've decided to try and set my own enterprise up. This lottery will be much smaller than the BIG one of course, but hopefully another option for all the gamblers out there. Hopefully, Grand Banks can later expand it's areas of gaming, but that's a later project!
The Concept To enter, simply send X ISK to this character's wallet. 1 ISK = 1 ticket. Drawings will be held every Sunday (specific time won't be established, since I honestly like to keep my schedule somewhat clear). 95% of the lottery's funds will then be paid out in prize money to a single winner - the winning ticket will be derived from a chance program. This means 5% will be kept by The Grand Banks, that's no secret. If this project proves to be successful enough, that 5% might be turned into fixed maximum amount instead.
The Drawbacks I realize I can't compete with BIG, but that's not the point either, I'm doing this simply because it seems like a fun project. Even if only three people choose to participate with a total pot of 3 ISK, the lottery will run. How many, and who, are in the lottery each round will be considered public (to insure non-scammability) and a list can therefore be requested and EVE-mailed to you if you want to follow up on whether or not this all seems suspicious. The winner will always be announced on the forum.
You've probably come to the conclusion that this is an alt. Yes, you are right. For practical reasons I won't use my main for this. My main character, for those who are interested, is Meehan - member of PIE. Even though he is PIE, this lottery and character will have no connections to CVA and/or the Minmatar conflict whatsoever.
So enter now! So what are you waiting for? No amount of purchased tickets is too small, you enter nonetheless. The first drawing will be held next Sunday (ie March 13).
/Mr Lloyd - The Grand Banks And good luck to all of you!

I might enter. Can't hurt.
And could Meehan please back up the statement by replying... i dont like someone just saying this is an alt of x without x saying so.
I roleplay... there is this computer game called "Earth - The First Genesis" where i play a character in the early 21st century. |

Well I am a skeptical person by nature, but seeing as you've made this so friendly, put me down for 100 tickets (Ok, so maybe I'm still a little skeptical)

Well, we're closing up on the drawing and so far have only two participants. Seems like odds for winning are great, but the payout maybe not so big

Given that I'm like, y'know, at war with the CVA and constantly insulting them yet I still won is a good sign. No scamming (YAY)!
