does anyone know if Mining and/or Astrogeology effect the rate of return on Ice Harvesting? or is The Skill "Ice Harvesting" the only one that effects Ice gathering processes...
Is ther another skill besides Ice Harvesting I haven't seen yet that effects the rate of return on mining Ice?

Nope, mining and astro don't do anything for Ice mining. Ice harvesting is the only skill for mining ice; as you know it reduces the time per cycle.

Not really, as each unit takes 1000m3 of cargo hold. Short of you having two 44% cargo hold expanders your not going to benefit from extra yield.
What sucks is the fact that any ship and skill yield bonuses dont apply to deep core mining lasers. Now THAT is what really sucks, especially for the Osprey/Scythe user.

This is incorrect from my experience. Skills seem to apply just fine.

Ice harvesting skill only reduce the time from 10min to 7.5min, and thats all that u need for ice mining.

Indirectly, they do. You need mining and astro both at 5 to fly a large barge, which will obviously increase your yield by 50% straight away.
