I remember CCP saying not too long ago that is is okay to use a macro providing that you are at the computer pushing the button.
There was a guy roaming around with 8 drakes and whatever he did on one char happened on all the others. So how is this any different?
Edit: if he's doing it 23 hours a day then yes, this probably is a bot They see me trolling, they hating... |

I work from home, i log into my works server @ around 9am eve time after ive done the school run, i log my ice miner in and i set him mining. He is always up on the 3/4 th screen. This guy warps in normally just after d/t and when i got to bed @ 11:30 eve time. He is still there, this morning, he was still there when i logged in @ 9:15am.
I shudder to think the kind of ISK this player is making from what he is doing

As long as your at the wheel, you can use apps that mirror your actions to other clients. You're giving direct input. Ice mining is the easiest use this as its about 40 minutes between actions. Which you do with just one client.
It sucks yes. Yet if they really wanted to fix this, They would have made ice blocks that popped ages ago which would have required more micro management. |

Or the OP could have taken the first response from CCP that said they're looking into it, and realize her job was done.

At one time, you could bring a SB Typhoon or two and clean up the whole problem, and make a nice profit besides.
Because miners whined about it, CCP, in its infinite wisdom, removed the only 'in-game' means to deal with the botting problem.
So now, you petition and wait in line and watch as commodity prices crash through the floor.
My guess is that Exhumer gankers also did the vast majority of accurate bot-reporting, but since they've been nerfed out of the equation...*shrug* let the bots multiply, I guess.
Only difference between a bot and a miner is about one mouse-click an hour anyway. Brilliant design.

Without customized ship skins it's near impossible for an artistically minded person to express him/herself in EVE. This person is clearly doing his utmost, despite the limited resources at his disposal.
Maybe we can dedicate a statue to him? " Take my love, take my land, take me where I can not stand, I don't care, I'm still free. You can't take the sky from me. "

Prices crash when production out races demand. Also there is a point where the prices are such where the goods will bought up to create an artificial floor and the price crash is reversed. |

The one I liked was watching a Hulk get popped a couple HG's ago... And the pod just sat there. And sat there. After about four minutes it left. Came back two minutes later (yes, THE POD), and sat there for about 12 minutes. Rinse, repeat. Frapped it for CCP, reported the bot. He was still there a couple days later (in a new Hulk, of course; someone must have come home from work).
CCP cares when it suits their purposes. Next topic? |

Hi there,
Just wanted to touch base on this a little bit.
Blue Ice should always be in an Ice field, I don't know why you keep reporting it!
Ok but seriously ...
If you've reported it to the GMs, I imagine that you will have received a reply that basically says 'Thanks, we'll take a look'. As you're not the owner of any of those accounts, you won't get any feedback; that's a basic privacy right; after all I'm pretty sure you'd be mortified if someone petitioned you and then was told 'Thanks, we banned him!'. In fact, there are laws about that sort of thing.
If you've reported it 5 times, then I'm pretty sure that CCP have either investigated it and found that it is a valid setup (most likely) or these characters are now being actively monitored.
That, in a nutshell, is all that you'll find out. The GM and/or security team will not just remove characters from the game because you think they're botting.
If you continue raising petitions about it, ostensibly just because you believe you're right and the GMs are wrong, then you will likely end up with you getting a caution for wasting the GMs time.
That's all that can be said about it really; what happens now is between CCP and the owners of the characters involved.
Thanks and fly safe.

Its not legal to macro at all, but its perfectly legal to use ISBoxer. Thats exactly what an ISBoxer mining fleet looks like.
All it does is let you send the same command to multiple screens. You can group them as well, so that with only 2 screens you can run an infinite amount of orcas + miners.
Although if they are running dt to dt then they are botting, as the human body requires sleep.
I have mined half a day many times and a couple of times ran wormhole anomalies for more than 12 hours. But all day every day is impossible. From: Tommas De'Wins To: Cipher Jones Dude :) I got massives Basi hahahahahahaha |
