And no matter how many people enter the prize will be given out

The texturing on the second one is going to be a blue and gray combination: This is my Monitor Class Space Cruiser w/out new weaponry: Monitor 1 Monitor 2 Monitor 3 Monitor 5 Monitor Fleet and this is my troop carrier w/out Textures: Troop 1 Troop 2 Troop 3 Troop 4 and Ktadaemon... I looked at your model closely. There are some basic differences in the engine area and on some of the paneling. Though in essence it is just 4 Sulaco's stuck together. Did you make the original Sulaco or did you kit-bash it from someone else's model? I know you can find a few Sulaco's on the internet including one at Lightwave Group 3D by Magma. I just wondered. It's a nice model though not horribly original.

Lucian Alucard	Posted - 2005.03.09 22:08:00 - [36] hmmmmm......most of these ships share alot of similarities with Babylon 5,Wing Commander and Colony Wars,ship designs,though they are EXTREMLY good, I would like to know if anyone feels that certain racial aspects of the astetics of race is being left out? As of late the Gallente have started to favor in their heavy warships a pontoon design,first with the megathrons catameran design then the mono pontoon adeptation of the Brutix (basically a Meg cut in half with a bunch of Roman candles up its butt). The Caldari tend to favor the useage of wings,sticking with the Bird of Prey motiff,I always thought an intresting extrapelation on this would be a four winged Scorpion,with a lengthened nose that almost mimiced the Klingon Vor'Cha Battle Crusiers from Star Trek:The Next Generation and Deep Space 9 but with sharper angles,if someone could make something like this then I would be impressed. Also sweeping the wings back would be cool. I used to have a good link to a ship i made but I got rid of it because it was just a really big Stabber. Please stop being a third rate flamer,I am tired of reactivating my account just to kick your ass.

It's still a very simple, non-texured model for now, but you get the idea when you see it. Inspiration came from the Caldari Caracal, but I figured it needed a bit of an upgrade to make it suitable for races :) On to the images: clicky!
