Seems to me all of 0.0 is at war. I look around at all the fun had and the amount of blood being spilled. Yet i see no ninja salvagers. looking at all the wrecks strewn about I tear up. I'm sad because no neutral from highsec is smart enough to make it out there and make some good isk off of the blood of others.
Q: Is it worth it? A: I would say so yes. teck 3 and 2 ships seem to be the norm in 0.0 pvp.
Q: It's too difficult to make it out there alive let alone getting your booty back to high. A: that is a very untrue statement not worth my time explaining.
Q: it's impossible to tell without an inside source there will be a fight then getting there in time to salvage the loots A: again untrue. you can simply look at the map and see average pilots in space. scout the area out and take down timers. you then show up to those timers wait for the fight to happen then commence the salvaging. or the easiest way is dropping an alt into the alliance to get the intel.
Q: I'm a veteran pilot and i can make way more isk why should i care? A: maybe you shouldn't care. I think the ones to profit the most for their effort would be new pilots to eve looking for quick isk. then again perhaps the veteran pilot seeks to try something new and fun.
Q: why are you ranting about Ninja Salvagers? A: Because the word "Ninja" is in front of your tittle that's why. there is nothing Ninja about it. salvaging npc wrecks and calling yourself ninja would be like calling my self a pvp god because I can take on hoards of enemy NPCs.
My challenge to the eve community: Shed the highsec griefing stigma of what is now Trashmen and bring back the Ninja Salvagers. Post your success on the forums in logs or vids in this thread. |

by all means continue but you're not really ninja salvaging. more on the lines of just plain piracy witch is a good thing but a little off of the point i was trying to make. |

ITS A TRAP! If you have in your hands the key to the fulfillment of your life's ambition and superiority over most, if you are aware that there is an absolute power on hand (just over the basic moral principles) how far are you willing to go and through what you are willing to tread? |

Why travel all the way out to 0.0 when there's so many highsec mission runners? Is it really better isk/hour to spend time scouting out a battle, and grab some tech 2 mods and a bit of salvage, when you could be in highsec salvaging almost constantly? How many nullbears rat with neutrals in system? Also, as previously stated, the option of refitting to your pvp ship when someone does something dumb isn't there either. |

Who the hell rats in 0.0 to begin with when there's far easier income available from speed-tanking FW plexes and even running incursions in hisec? please leave |

why the hell would you go out to null to salvage their npc wrecks? when i see 50 or so teck 2 cruiser player wrecks how much do you think that would be worth in salvage alone? I'll let you think over it. player wrecks are better to salvage ;) |

I think this guy is trying to encourage ninja salvagers to ninja loot/salvage the remains of fleet battles.
Which is hilarious/awesome and something I approve of people trying to do. We need more battle noctises to compete with Theta. |

Those statistics are updated nowhere nearly as quickly or accurately for a given time as you think. Further more, since the victor is still usually on the field after the battle salvaging/looting the destroyed wrecks, it's usually a death wish.

Enjoy your one way trip to nullsec. You may get in, but you'll never get out. Unless of course you're planning to "ninja salvage" in a covert ops or a bomber... |

Unless they make it a criminal act to salvage someone else's loot there wont be too many ninja's to put bounty on.
There's really only 2 kinds of ninja slavagers IMHO, people skilling up killing time, or people baiting you to aggress them so they can wtfbbpwn you with a mission fit killing ship.
We now return you to your regularly scheduled **** poast. |

I hardly ever see the second one, most ninjers i get are just bithering retards who just run out and get a cheap cruisers to try and kill my command ship, and 100% of the time, fail at doing so. Love my Gallente Federation Navy ships! |

Ninja salvaging is more for fun than for profit, after one week or somthing like this here much more profit form runing own mission even lvl 1-2 + salvage own wreks, than waste time for probing mission runers and salvage yellow wreks. |

I actually made my first couple of hundred million ninja salvaging just a few weeks after I started playing in April.
I fit a Thorax with an expanded probe launcher, salvagers, a MWD, a few cap rechargers, and expanded cargoholds. Salvage the wrecks, scoop the loot if they owner of the wrecks wasn't around, and dock in station to unload the salvage and loot before going back again. After a few hours on ninjaing, I'd load up an Iteron with expanded cargo holds and fly it to Dodixie to sell my wares.
It really wouldn't have been viable in null.
