I got tackled last night on a gate by a flashy cynbal in my bb. Of Course 1 shot he dropped my shields until I jammed him and warped off. But before I warped I noticed he was using ecm drones. Keep it mind he was also taking gate fire. With this setup, would I have been able to beat him. Im really curious. He was setup for close range, not a kiting cyn.

keep in mind this does over 200 dps, but dies to drones of course. But he was using ecm drones. :/ |

I think you'd be better off with a different ship the blackbird might be able to run away but it won't have an easy time catching/holding a cynabal.

thanx I figured. I got owned like that in a drake. Thought I could take a Gila. After my shields melted I realized they have better dps and a tank lol. |

roll those ecm dice and yeah you will win a few times, you will also lose a few times but at the cost of a cheap cruiser to catch and kill a 300m one, id say its worth a few trys :)
of course everyone will hate you for playing with ecm solo and you will probably lose some respect, but hey, kills a kill.

Any Gila pilot that isn't horrible will kite a Drake, HMLs wont break a Gila and HAMs, well, kiting.
Fit looks, odd, maybe a smartbomb instead of the Rocket, to kill drones.
If he is a Dual prop Cynabal, I'm fairly sure he will outrun you. |
