Did you fix the 1 flaw, or can I still get my friends to shoot my pod and we split the money?
If not you only wasted time that's the main reason for the bounty system is not used now.
Its to easy to game it so the guy with the bounty gets the isk.
I'm just looking for a bit more info on how its going to work. A Dark time comes. My time.If it offends you.Stop me. |

Give me your moneeeeeeey!!!
I heard from a little bird you have more specific choices in what counts as a valid payment for bounty.
So you can say you want a Vindicator killed of this persons/corps and you will pay 25m for it, etc.
Rather than just capsule farming. Mimidae Risk Solutions Recruiting |

It looks to me as if you place a bounty and select what payouts will be based on a percentage of damages inflicted, then the bounty system will pay out of the fund you put up. For example, if you do 500,000,000 ISK in damages and the payout is 25%, you get 125,000,000 ISK.
So, payouts are assessed as a percentage of damages, not just for the kill. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZTzA_xesrL8 |

Here is an idea. Why don't you want for them to announce the details and then ask questions if you still have any Selective Pressure [FOVRA] is now recruiting! https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=1797934#post1797934 |

they also said something about selling kill rights to bounty hunters or something, which means killrights might matter now. |

I think the idea is to add specifications for what must be destroyed (e.g. a certain ship), and more specifications for who can collect the bounty (e.g. a merc, rather than the victim's alt). However as long as the bounty exceeds the value of what must be destroyed, there's always the possibility of collusion between the merc and the victim.

It may be the case the put in caps on payouts to insure they don't exceed actual damages.
Or, they could just let people put in whatever % they want. I can't imagine somebody inputting something like 150% payout. You never know though. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZTzA_xesrL8 |

STOP IT. You're making far too much sense. Why can't you grab some popcorn and let everyone run around and scream that this is the end of the world untill they've read the details. Vice Secretary of the 7th Council of Stellar Management.

You look really surprised about something.... "A genius throws a Molotov cocktail and soon realizes that he's going to die choking in a maze of smoke and flame. Because we've already seen the mess they've made of the wardec system.
And the 'botter's paradise' mining barge buff.
And the inventory system.
And watching Crimewatch unfold is like witnessing a slow-moving train wreck.
The smart money is on failure. Sorry, thats where we are today. |
