Just curious to know what the biggest distance is between two gates that someone has come across in Eve? I've seen some pretty unfriendly 100+ AU jumps in XF space, but there most be one super cap-killing jump? Somewhere in 0.0 perhaps?

You know, the worst length of travelling would have to be going from deep empire (niyabainen) to core Venal (6nj8-V).
First you run into Oipo, which is a *****. Then there's X-7omu, which is a bigger *****, and then 9-266Q, which is a mother******* *****.

Yep, that is one long mother****** (as you so eloquently put it ) of a journey and surely winner of the prize.

Raise your hand if you remember when ALL ships jumped at a speed of 2.0 (or 1.999) au/s
/me raises his hand.
Man, that was fun. Especially before the highway systems.

Painful, especially as amarr to caldari space was around 30 jumps.
However, it was MUCH better... Regionalised markets, etc... i.e., at the time, want a cheap deal on a caldari ship? Go 30 jumps to caldari space. Was great imo. --------
