Im a scout and courier runner and want to know which ship would be the fastest in universe but still coupled with some armour and firepower.

Your help in this matter is very much appreciated, and maybe i can do some work for you ?
So HMV consider Andy Williams and Dean Martin to be "easy listening" do they? Tell that to my mate Dave, he's been deaf for 20 years.

The minmatar Stabber cruiser has speed and reasonable firepower. For a frigate you would probably want the minmatar Rifter.

Well worth looking at an Incursus (Gallente) for a frigate - good base speed, good cap, good slots (3 med, 2 low means you can fit an extra afterburner over the Rifter, and with Acceleration Control level 4 that makes a HUGE difference to top speed.)

However, not that I've tried it yet, but if you've got the Fuel Conservation skill up high, try taking a look at a Vigil (Minmatar). Lower cap, so you need the skill to keep your ABs firing, but 3 med slots for ABs, and 3 low slots for overdrive modules.

I'd suggest going with a Rifter. It isn't the fastest ship, but it is the fastest "heavy" frigate. That way you'll actually have some sort of shielding if you run into trouble. Stick an overdrive unit, a light hull and two ABs on it, up your nav and AB skills and voila. Currently, with my lame character I can get it up to 650m/s and thats without a MWD.

The fastest ship, full stop, would probably be a cruiser loaded with MWDs. Mind if you did the same to a Titan it'd probably me quite fast. :)

Well, without wanting to willy-wave, I can quite happily sustain over 1km/s in my Incursus, with three ion blasters fitted and ready if I need to mix things up a little, rather than run from trouble.

It took a fair bit of skill training, but no out-of the ordinary equipment, and it does me very well for any agent missions or courier runs I take on. I'm also now looking forward to taking on a cruiser with a couple of other frigate pilots, after the latest patch...

2003, before I started, read that you could stack MWDs, then after Pirates complained about haulers going to fast, CCP backed up the pirates and nerfed MWD stacking.

CCP has a history of supporting pirates. One of the current tricks is that some Warp to 0 gates only get you to 2600m, and if you'r in a slow hauler, that's the difference between go and Oh NOOOO.

So unfortunatly, I'm going to have to make some more BMs, srry CCP.
